Designed with the novice in mind, “Air Battles” allows combat flight sim and fps enthusiasts to jump right into the action as a pilot for either the Axis or Allied forces and experience exciting, historically-themed, scripted missions. Using classic World War II planes, players can take part in massive air battles where over 400 planes are used to recreate the violent aerial combat that took place in the skies above Europe during WW II.
“Air Battles: Sky Defender,” uses enhanced particle and weapon effects – explosions, tracer rounds, and trailing smoke and fire, as well as detailed plane models, environments, weather effects and volumetric clouds enabling flight sim novices the same amazing experience they get from first-person shooters.
You’re leading a flight of eight Hurricanes on a fighter sweep 15,000 feet above the English Channel. In the distance, you spot 60 German bombers and twice as many fighters escorting them as they fly west to rain destruction on the city of London. Alongside your squadron, you close in on the horrible mass of enemy planes. You’re ready to make history.

well there isint even an optio nfor multiplay in this shitty gradeschool made shit. curently deleteing the game, sucks a lot i played ww2 flight games 10 years ago that were a hell of a lot better than this. i couldnt even exit out of the game it was so bad, dont think esc is an option to get a menu to exit, its like they forgot some people might not wana play for an eternity.
Looks cool, I like flight sims. As long as the action is fast and dangerous I’m there.

I am able to go to the menu screen and all but when I click on fly the game crashes. All u need to do is intall it right? No crack or anything, right?
yah i just installed it no crack no nothing, the game sucks, its not really fast action, but i only tryed it once, ill try it again right now to see if its better the second time around
OK playing it for the second time it has potential, but when u are in a mission you cant exit, u have to wait till the mission is over, EVEN if you crash, u cant exit out of the mission, alt-tab dosnt work, Ctr-Alt-Del dosnt work, alt F4 dosnt work, there is no in game menu you can go to, the only thing u can do is SHUT DOWN your computer, wtf is that shit. wast of fucken time if u ask me to download this
You guys are idiots, to exit just hit alt x in any part of game. Granted there isn’t much in manual. I don’t think there is multiplayer but so what I don’t have time for another muliplayer game. This game is much better then crap like battlestations midway, is it just me or does a lack cockpit in the bigger release’s like blazing angels really bother me. I mean I don’t feel like I am flying when I am looking at the plane from behind. IMO those game are stupid.
Sky Defender, fantastic graphics even on a middling machine, best way to ident enemies then any other game I have seen. Realistic aircraft, radio chatter, best overall combat flight sim since MS combat flight simulator and really better for $20 US. IF you are an adult belive me, don’t listen to the children. Get this game,!

vista will run the game but you need to have a good graphics card. i would recomend the NVIDIA 8500. i bought this game a wile back and had the same problem as “pissed off”, but all i did was bought a new graphics card and now it works great. and yes i like it…..
When loading a mission it says theres a problem with the english text file and it shuts down. Anyone know how to fix it. I havent played it yet but for $10.00, I dont expect much. (Im running Vista)

I have the same problem – the game downloads right to the end and then says there’s a problem w/ english text. And thats it. No game. I’ve got win xp. Did you get any answers to your problem?
