Not a noob
Hate that with Nero 7. I’ve even had no space message when burning to half empty HDD.
2 suggestions.
1st Make sure DVD 5 is selected as type of disc.
(dohh!)
2nd Go into configuration option in GUI and change
encoding from standard (fit to disc) to custom and set it to around 2000kb (or the highest number which works).

my nere 7.10.10 which worked fine in the past and on many machines now tells me after the eternity of encode not enough space on this disc (4.7 DVd-R) please insert a disc with enough space etc….I’ve restored to new out of box/installed a new burner (convert x works well but hate the menu option) so will this give me a option to make a custom menu like nero or what do you guys recommend. Is my nero on crack or what?

That alone dude should tell you something about these formats and how they are NOT as popular as some would want you to think. If they were they would be included…since they are not, that speaks volumes.

But I agree with @24 gadaffi, if you want to use a decent program that can do everything you want and then some, learn to use either gordian knot/GK lite or use ripit4me and you will never have to worry again if your dvd copies are going to work or not.

This is not as much of a Ripper as an (encoder,ReCoder) its not really up to par, takes well over an hour. HAVEN’T TRIED THE REST. But I’ll try ASAP. DVD Fab, Shrink etc much much faster

dvdfab is nice…but its transcoding engine is horrible…if you wanna use a transcoder stick with dvdshrink or nero recode or just use a encoder like hc encoder or procoder…both which are superior to cce except for speed

Love Releaselog, thanks guys.
Thanks to the uploader but I’d think twice before installing.
I tried the free trial from Aimsoft. Website seemed like a one man band. Software did not work. Perhaps a one off but if Aimsoft can’t produce safe and reliable software I don’t want it on my pc. On uninstall app tried to access net. always a worrying sign.
This comment is just a caution to everyone thinking of downloading this. Big Thanks to the uploader and Releaselog.
