Ahead Nero v8.1.1.0 Ultra Edition Incl Keymaker-EMBRACE
Sorry for this one being so late, I’ve been a bit busy on the IRC channel and that… Better late than never! 
EMBRACE have released the updated version of Nero 8, previously released by ADDICTION and FiCKDiEBiATCH. While looking for info on this I also found Nero.Ultra.Edition.8.1.1.0-TBS, but I’m not sure of the difference, so your best bet is to go with this one for now.

Not sure if this can be compared with the previous releases by ADDICTION/FiCKDiEBiATCH which were ~1gb each.
This one contains Nero-8.1.1.0_eng_trial.exe and an updated keygen by embrace. Its the same trial which you can download off nero website…
Yes, the others were also DVD’s, with other packages, but essentially it’s the same most people install anyway.

the keygen works, altho nero pormpts a “third party license activation failed” box, but if you close it it works perrfectly….

#6: Nero writes Blue-Ray discs since 7.0.0 version, so they add support not from 8th version, but since 7

Is there still a problems with this release of Nero 8? I know I got Nero 8 not to long ago and it gave me the message “third party license activation failed”,
After that all of the functions of Nero 8 started shutting down. It took a few days for it to completely stop working.

Just delete or rename the file NeroPatentActivation.exe

Nothing new to me, except two things: a new splash screen which seems to make NeroBR, etc start quicker, and startsmart which I never use anyway. Not worth upgrading.

Nero like any other application has internal / performance bugs that are not directly visible… IF 8 is a better version, then 8 > 7

I wonder if Nero 8 “gets along” with other burning software - or does it still “take over” and wreak havok with anything else that you install - as it has been ever since Nero 7…
how do i unpack this?? im using win rar but it says i need the other parts of file to complete win rar unpack. is it not like the movies, you just pick the first rar file and thats it or is it something else. i downloaded it and erased nero 6, please help.

Is nobody getting this message with nero http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=akj049&s=2 I did what it say did not work and I reinstall DirectX 9.what too do now.
To get rid of the invalid serial number warnings, u need to install it, then use nero remove to remove it, then look in you firewall program access list and bar nero from accessing internet, then reinstall it…. it should be fine now..

After reading all that, I think I’ll just stay with my still working version of Nero 6.

So after months of using alternative software I decided to give Nero 8 a try… Same shit with a Vista interface. I still cannot see how subtitles (.srt) are not supported in this new version of Nero Vision 5.

Yeah - I agree, my wife still uses 6 and she does just fine - and 6 doesn’t require a “system sacrifice” to run. Thanks for letting me know it still is updated!

or reinstall ur WINRAR..nd while reinstalling it…check all the options..for supported formats…
Nero showtime and recode (probably others) expire after I set the clock 3 months later. And I try to load some movie in it. Serial only doesn’t help. This application has some kind of activation. They allways connect to the Internet.
uhhh… I dunno if anyone knows this already.. but i think it helps to disconnect from the internet while installing nero 8… i installed it that way, and i don’t seem to get nags about it being a pirated copy, if someone gets that problem… umm… i used the keygen by embrace and it seems to work fine… and i didn’t even delete the …program files\comom files\Nero\Shared\NL3\NeroPatentActivation.exe file.
Spybot search and destroy has found the keylogger “silent guard” in the nero install directory. Not sure if it is true yet, because McAfee didn’t detect it.

some have no probs and some have probs, but either way its unstable.
Those who cannot start nero startsmart, just turn on your user account control and it would working juz fine!!

Ok i installed this program on its 1st release. Then got the inevitable ‘pirate’ message. So following the instructions of what most people think is the solution i deleted the neropatent exe it then worked fantastic. Now however after the 30 days it doesn’t like me. All i get is error messages because it would like to check its legitimacy and it cant for obvious reasons. Thus rendering this once cool piece of software a useless piece of ****. Anyone who is cool at cracking software please crack this one as any day now there’s going to be a serious demand for it as thousands of nero 8’s are going to stop working.
I also got the third party license activation trouble whenever I use nero vision to create my own dvd-video.
renaming the exe does not end up with a good working nero vision.
People keep away from this version, very unstabile, instalation and uninstallation last forever. For now I’ll stick to Ahead.Nero.v7.9.6.0.Incl.Keymaker-EMBRACE

When you aur looking for a solution, we tend to get way to complicated. How simple! Just rename the dame file.

Removed the filed and get an error when restarted stating “Fatal Error: Missing NeroPatentActivation.exe - please reinstall Nero”
Obviously Nero’s found a way around that fix!
Any other suggestions?

Don’t delete the file, just rename it.
Current Nero Activation fixes will only work in cases where the user has just installed Nero for the first time. Once Nero has been installed for a while it will eventually begin to fail activating. The Keygen and Activator\Keygen also do not work as well, especially when Vision and Showtime are used. If you only use Burning Rom and other pieces these issues will not affect you, YET!!!!

I can second, that my installation now works.
Even Vision does NOT ask for patent activation any longer.
