I hate ads, I use the AdBlockerPro in FF.

But this is something you should do, you warn the reader that it was a “paid for” review but you do it in a way that made me still read it.

If I were the advertisers, they should be exploiting this on your site more.

I’ve worked for some software studios and a game developer and none did uses bought software. Before I startet there I thought that game developers would understand and be fair and BLAH. They used stolen software to develop the game (except, of course, the one actually used in the game) and they played copied games in the evening.

And some years ago discreet, the guys selling 3D Max, said that more than half the people who used it professionally did not pay for it…

No that doesn’t make sense. Most graphic designers and such that use expensive software use cracked copies UNTIL they can afford legit licenses. To get caught using a cracked copy for profit is not a good day at all trust me.

I could never hope to afford Maya, the version I used and stole from college the license, not even a full license cose 16$ GRAND.

Anyways, do you need us to follow links to help with the costs? I’m sure peeps will whine about posts like this one but of course they aren’t offering to help pay the bills.

Most people who want it won’t need to use the cracked version, it’s not like they couldn’t easily afford it if they actually need it, if that makes sense. A bit like a lot of designers used cracked Adobe at University and now own the real thing.
