I don’t think so, I hardly find it fitting to strutt around with a hood other my head like I’ve just walked out of Brookyln nore do I find it appropriate to intimidate or stab another individual.     This film has been out for approximately 2 years and is actually called “kidulthood” so if you want a good quality rip just search for ‘kidulthood’ and you will find plenty of good copies.

    This guy bring up a great point. Movies like this glorify the unecessary life of “da hood”. Since when is it cool to be ignorant? Racist? To wear your pants half way down to your knees? That’s cool?

    I work in America, I work with people from Russia and India. These people have masters, double master, doctorates. They are taking all the jobs and good for them. Mean while, American youths, and apparently rich brits, are playing the “I am dumb, I am cool” route.

    They will find themselves later in life swabbing toilets, delivering newspapers at 40+ years old working for “The man” which is not going to be a white person, but Abu from India. He will treat you like a worthless dog.

    Just wait. Laugh at me, call me a fool, but I have seen this for decades and i for one am above “da hood” and all the unintelligent little boys and girls that fall for that crap.

    Clean my shoes…. NOW!

    Well said. The biggest problems i have with these films, is how the “wastes”/”lost souls”/gangsta’s” (whatever you wanna call them…) are always portrayed as the victims. I have no pity for anyone who chooses that lifestyle. I’ve lived right next door to ‘Peckham’ all my life. I’m Mixed race, always had bad influences around me. But i chose to lead my own life, and not be led. Now the same idiots who tormented me, and thousands of innocent people in london. Expect us, to feel pity for them? What about the real victims?     I have yet to see Adulthood but I have just viewed Kidulthood and if it is anything like that then I have to to totally disagree with the above statement. I can’t see how it stands to glamorise the everyday goings on. If anything it will stand as an instrument to show the real life idiots how much or a prat they look. Kidulthod was great and I look forward to seeing Adulthood
