i am using corel photo x2.
i tried lightroom, but i dont know how to use batch conversion. i have to edit 200 pictures everyday.
i am using corel photo x2. with batch conversion i just select a buch of files, preselect the script “auto improve” and corel photo x2 improves images within a few seconds.
CAN I DO THE SAME WITH LIGHTROOM? HOW? PLZ?
Mac version anyone?

Lightroom is designed for pro photographers to use instead of adobe bridge. It is for use alongside photoshop.
Hello,
If you using this app on a 64bits os like vista64 ultimate, this program will not work properly.
It hangs everytime when you use some of the new features like the local adjustment brushes.
bridge in combinatoin with photoshop works a lot better then lightroom
How do u install it??
after i unziped the files i get few files and setup.001-setup.028
and what do i do next?? I joined them to get a single setup file, but the file has no extension.
If I rename it to setup.exe nothing happen when i run the program
So how the hell to do u install the app???

Yep, a Trojan was picked up on the “CORE10k.EXE” file. I used Malwarebytes to find this

Right click the first .001 file and chose open with WinRar. The grab the files in the WinRar window and extract them.
@1 Well the strong point of LR is the file management. If you shoot raw (though it works great for Jpgs as well)you can get away with most of your PP work in LR instead of PS. It’s way faster than PS, specially for larger shoots. Since ver 2.0 you even have localized corrections, improved sharpening so i personally only use PS on rare occasions on files that need that little extra. On day to day basis i think most photographers are rather happy to stay as long as possible inside LR.

@ 3 Yes it’s easy to correct you images in batches in LR. It’s great when you have loads of images from the same shoot with similar lightning. You just correct the first image then you select all the other one included the file on which you did the corrections on and choose sync.A window will open and in there you choose all the things you want to sync. like WB, exposure etc. In LR you can also create your own develop presets.

Install Lightroom 2.exe, setup32.exe & setup64.exe. i know i dont need setup64.exe but which of the other 2 do i use to install & what do i do with the one that will be left over

One of the benefits, or disadvantages as some people claim, of digital photography is it encourages photographers to take more shots than they might have done in the preceding film era. Adobe Lightroom 2 includes features to help photographers deal with the increased number of images.
The first step after a session taking digital photographs is sorting and selecting the images on the computer. Deleting the obvious failures in the camera reduces the number of images involved, but one of the real tasks is to choose between similar photos with slight variations in composition and exposure settings.
Import from Memory Card
A simple task but keeping the function within Lightroom is convenient and lets the photographer get straight to the first viewing stage in the one program. Adobe Lightroom 2 understands the directory structures cameras use on memory cards, reducing keystrokes making this task simpler and more convenient.
Views
There are a number of image viewing formats in Adobe Lightroom 2 to help in the sorting and selection process. A row of thumbnail images along the bottom, or a filmstrip as Adobe refer to it, always seems to be there, allowing users to select images.
Grid: In Adobe Lightroom’s main window, this view option displays the thumbnails in a grid as well as the filmstrip along the bottom. Users can vary the size of the thumbnails in the grid view window.
Loupe: This quickly changes the view in the main window to the last zoom view used, while a smaller widow on the left shows the whole image with a box outlining the area in the loupe view.
Compare: This automates the process of displaying identical views of two or more images side by side in Adobe Lightroom 2’s main window. The zoom and move tools are linked so the exact view of the images is the same. This is a very efficient way for closely examining similar images.
Survey: In a similar vein, this is a convenient and efficient one click Adobe Lightroom 2 option to fit the selected file (or files) into the main viewing window.
Sorting: There are a number of sorting indicators available just below the main view window. Users can assign a reject or accept flag or assign a rating from one to five stars. Adding keywords is another option for grouping images.
Rotating images: While this is an editing function, Adobe includes this function in the image management area to help the sorting process of images shot in the portrait mode.
The key to all these functions is their efficiency and ease of use. These other applications can perform functions, even Adobe’s Photoshop. However often it takes a number of operations to achieve the same result Lightroom does in one key or mouse click. Adobe Lightroom shines in managing large numbers of digital photographs.

Okay I'm no noob but I still can't get the file extracted. I extract everything in the primary .rar and I get a folder with like 25 more RARs in it.
I know how to extract the files usually but instead of them all extracting and combining into the files I need, I get 25 setup001 then setup002 and so forth.
So now I have all the partial setup files with no way to get them back to one whole file. Any help?
