Adobe Ships Production and Master CS3 Suites
Adobe’s Creative Suite 3 Production Premium and Creative Suite 3 Master Collection are shipping as of today. The company describes Adobe Production Premium CS3 as the industry’s “most comprehensive collection of integrated cross-platform post-production software tools.” Included applications within the Production Premium suite include After Effects CS3 Professional, Premiere Pro CS3, Encore CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3 Professional, and Soundbooth CS3, which can all also be purchased as stand-alone applications.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 offers enhanced features such as new format support and a unique Time Remapping tool that improves slow motion and variable speed effects. After Effects CS3 software introduces Shape Layers for drawing and animating vector shapes; the Puppet tool for stretching and manipulating 2D images; and the Brainstorm tool for generating and previewing animation variations. The software also includes solutions for direct-to-disk recording and chroma keying. Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection combines all 12 of Adobe’s new design and development products: InDesign; Photoshop Extended; Illustrator; Flash Professional; Illustrator; Dreamweaver; Fireworks; Contribute, After Effects professional; Premiere Pro; Soundbooth; Encore and Acrobat 8 Pro. As long as we all know how useful may Adobe’s software become, I still don’t get their price policy: Production and Master Suite CS 3 are priced at $1,699 and $2,499 respectively.

i already use the master collection, best suite ever!
but you use the online version, a.k.a. beta programms cracked for full functionality. premiere ist still full of bugs. but its nice and fast though.
The swamp release of Photoshop CS3 is exactly the same as the one in this suit.
They have thier own price point b/c there isn’t much competition.
Many ppl have probs to install it (retail version).. if you previous have any cs3 products installed you can have som BIG problems.. i had to reinstall my comp to get it to work properly. see here for more info http://www.cruciallimit.com/blog/?p=74
When can we expect After Effects CS3 to be out for download?
i had CS3 progs (flash,photoshop) installed on XP before i installed CS3 premium
i uninstalled separate products and installed retail premium without any problems
where can one get a working keygen for the master suite?
Adobe can charge this much because of the lack in competition. They have competition in the video segment, they have competition in the audio segment, but audio’s a whole other world software wise. As far as imaging/publishing/illustration, they’re pretty much the only competitor. Lot’s of people throw out gimp but a lot of what you’re paying for in Adobe photoshop and the like is the color matching libraries etc that anyone doing professional graphic design needs. It’s just a weird market cause they also have all of these nonprofessional people that use photoshop cause it’s great software but we’re not really the reason it exists.
It’s best to wait for the Volume edition rather than Retail as the Volume edition doesn’t require activation. Though I presume a fair amount of people have been anticipating this release so probably won’t wait.
I’d guess that the Master Collection will be huge, probably 2 or 3 dual layer DVDs. Even the complete Final Cut Studio 2 was 52GB so I expect the Master Collection to be similar in size.

The only knock on some of the CS3 programs I have is the Apple bonjour.exe that gets installed. Its a fucking bandwidth hog. It can be deleted and cleaned up with HiJack This and lspfix. Fuck Crapple computers.
Remember the MAGNITUDE release is just a cobbled mess of beta and final release programs. It is also missing Soundbooth CS3 and a few other programs specific to the Master Collection. I would wait to see if another group releases a RETAIL or VOLUME version.
BTW, Amazon says the ship date is July 12.

To remove Bonjour:
Open a Windows command prompt and type the following command:
“C:\Program Files\Bonjour\mDNSResponder.exe -remove”
Navigate to the following folder in Windows Explorer: C:\Program Files\Bonjour
Rename the mdnsNSP.dll file in that folder to mdnsNSP.old
Restart your computer
Delete the the Program Files\Bonjour folder
Note: Removing Bonjour prevents Version Cue clients (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Bridge) from automatically discovering Version Cue Servers and Version Cue projects in your local network. You will need to connect manually using Connect to Server and the URL or IP address of the machine running Version Cue Server instead.
CS3 master suite was release a couple of weeks back, seems to be full working release, 4DVD’s worth. (Each at 3Gig)
