to be able to change the hosts file, you’ve to open it as an administrator to change it. right click and click run as administrator. i’m thirteen and it worked fine, x

working for me:
1-disconnect from internet
2-launch ps cs4 setup
3-launch key generator
4-put patch in root installation
5-launch patch
6-(te-connect to internet)
7-enjoy it!

This is probably a stupid question, but how do i add lines to my host file to block access? What program can i use to edit the file? If i already have the program installed, do i have to uninstall and THEN edit the file? or can i just close it?

Works like a charm if you follow the nfo,

1: Navigate to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and locate your "hosts" file then open with note pad.

Add the following line;

127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

Save file and close.

2: Choose Manual installation (Ps setup.exe)

3: Unselect everything, except Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Bridge

4: Use keymaker to register the application

End
