   No phone activation in CS4 (because even once it's activated, it calls home and disables keygened serials).

   But I got it working here with an edited HOSTS file (which blocks the connection to the activation server).

    Patching the Host file is easy anyways, you don't even need to bypass any Windows restrictions like you do with uxtheme.dll. They include a built-in patcher anyways, integrated straight into the keygen GUI.

    I've been using Photoshop CS4 trial version and it's now expired, and everytime I open it all that comes up is a message saying: "Licensing for this product has expired."

    I've reinstalled Photoshop CS4 several times with the same outcome, the message is still there. I've also removed the text at the end of the hosts file etc. Somebody got any ideas of what to do here?

    @44 deleting any files in ducu and setting proberly wouldn't be enough. You would have to find any registry keys in the registry that references CS4 and then either delete or ameend proberly 1 key that contains trial period time left details. Finding That registry key would take a very long time. Anyway would keys from this keygen work on mac.

    for those getting license expired dialogs; it is because you do not have retail versions of amtlib.dll and ambtlib64.dll.

    amtlib.dll in every program folder

    amtlib64.dll in 64 bit photoshop folder

    go to your favorite torrent site(or TPB)to find these files.

    and its ALWAYS a good idea to modify the host file. and i block activate.abode.com in my firewall.

    Can someone explain how the patch host files work?

    I downloaded the trial from adobe.com, installed it into C:\Programs\Adobe. Then i took the keygen, saved and extracted it to my desktop, put in the key the keygen gave me and clicked patch host file when the PS installation was done. With barely any elapsed time, a message comes up telling me the files have been patched. But the invalid serial warning on startup persists. What am i doing wrong?

    Spent 6 hours cleaning my box after I ran this program…trojans put 61 files and 6 rootkits and I ended up having to restore from my backup last night to finally get rid of it and I'm still not sure about how clean I got it or what information may have been sent out over the net. Use it if you dare but take it from me, you don't want the headache…unless you like running HijackThis and virus scans all day…I still can't run a "chkdsk /f"…have fun~

    Also, not sure if it matters or not but I had my internet turned off while I did this, so you may want to do that just incase. Can't guarantee 100% it will work if internet is on, only can testify that if you do it 100% the way I said it will work. Not the ONLY way out there I'm sure, but was the easiest for me.
