If you are demoing your flac stuff its a great alternative to dubplates so can do that. But if you want to learn to DJ get the gear and learn. The gear means 2 TECHNICS 1200s, a mixer from any company besides Gemini, a pair of studio headphones(Sony and Audiotechnica have them starting around $70 USD) The TECHNICS turntable is the most crucial part. It's the defacto standard and has been for over 30 years. You will be laughed out of any decent club or rave using this. At least it has a pre-listening feature. Not my thing, prefer Virtual or even DSS DJ over this, But i will keep it a little longer to give it a better test.
