A very good point. If a country once legalized arm bearing and suddenly decides to have gun control, thats a bad move.
But a country that has already have gun control to begin with and one day decides to legalize arm bearing, now thats even worst.

anyway in a war if you hope to win, you will probably eventually have to either invade or be invaded by both the armed and unarmed and personally i dont see how choosing one over the other would be beneficial, on the unarmed side, lots of slaughtered civilians i suppose, but they should have a military too.
on the armed side, imo military troops are better trained than just rednecks with guns as such would be better shots, have snipers taking out dangerous spots, grenades all sorts of things, and in this modern time it makes no difference, bomb the whole place dont matter if they have guns or not.

Let’s be honest. Some people ARE addicted to porn. LOL @ some of the comments here claiming that no one is. Nearly everything can be an addiction. At the same time, porn usually doesn’t harm people. But it is kind of sad if you need porn to get off all the time, or if you can’t tell that there is a difference between higher, more realistic porn versus the regular stuff you see in stores. The realistic stuff is usually made for women, and there ARE women who watch porn too, obviously. Also, there are sociological and cultural issues surrounding pornography that more people need to understand.

When anyone mentions Christians I am not sure (at all!) that that assumption applies to Christians, in general, outside the US. I mean, I am European, someway or the other, most people are Christans, or better yet: are raised within a Christan culture, which doesn’t necessarily mean they are religious.
Anyway, I don’t recall any lobbying against the uber dangers of porn. Religious groups, don’t have that much political and moral strenght. Even if they try to lobby, the vast majority is educated enough to know how to distinguish religon from real life…

Sex can be just as addictive as eating and breathing but I think the negative connotation to addiction is rooted in the inability or willful denial to control yourself. God gave us sex to enjoy as pleasure, food to enjoy as satisfaction, and the world for our wants and needs but we should be responsible and be moderate and non-abusive of ourselves and everything around us.
Christians are called to live a holy life that honors the Lord. A life that is sanctified from the rest of the world. A life that is fought in spiritual warfare not carnal or flesh. We are given the liberty by Christ to do what each heart’s desire is according to the Holy Spirit’s guidance to each believer, over the power of sin through Christ’s forgiveness, being aware to not abuse it. As a Christian, I don’t see that sex is bad for my body at all. But I think sex is not good for my soul, provided that it isn’t in God’s will and context for what sex should be for me personally as a Christian.
Survival and sex are the primary needs that God has hardwired into our bodies but you can be addicted to food or sex if you abuse them, either too much or too little.
