Well-known Musical “Across The Universe” which has appeared before in DVDSCR is now available in DVDRip quality thanks to group iMBT. This is a creative film that is not without its share of flaws but none-the-less worth a watch.

Synopsis: The Beatles’ songs may have provided the soundtrack for the lives of those coming of age in the 1960s, but their extensive catalogue acts as the literal soundtrack in this romantic musical from visionary director Julie Taymor. Newcomer Jim Sturgess stars as Jude, a young man working on the docks in Liverpool. Eager to escape, he travels to Princeton where he meets Max (Joe Anderson). But it’s his meeting with Max’s younger sister Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood) that changes him. They quickly fall in love, but their relationship is tested by the chaos of the late 1960s and Max’s unwilling tour in Vietnam.

    Why do people request 2 CDs? It’s more convenient releasing it on one CD (quality is fine, no need to swap discs, quicker to download etc.) and putting both files together would be 1400 MB which is too big for a CD-R and would put a DVD-R to waste.

    Because, King Mustard, some people like decent audio and video quality and actually have 25 cents to buy a DVD+R!

    Movies with a lenght of 2+ hours ALWAYS should be 2 CD. Even an amateur like aXXo released 2 hour movies in a format over 700 MB.

    yea @ 12 … long movies should be released in 2 cd form also if the movie has exceptional quality and audio… they get released in 2 cd form…

    This was a good movie according to me. It helps that I know at lest 98% of the Beatles songs. So it was like watching a musical for the for time and magically knowing all of the lyrics.

    am i the only person in the world who hated this garbage pale of a movie
    not only cause i hate thea beatles, just cause the story was choppy and they seemed like they were going for an YOUR ON ACID audience.
    terrible terrible terrible.
    i called my friend who said even if i dont like the beatles id love this movie, and told him we are no longer friends.

    FANTASTIC movie, I have now watched this one 3 times, if you know anyone who loves the Beatles movies (over 40ish) I would highly recommend this one

    This needs to be nuked…Playback is slowed and voices are obviously deeper than should be due to drawn out sounds. When compared to Cocaine’s DVDSCR it’s very easy to tell…Watch the samples if you don’t believe me.

    I matched up iMBT’s rip with the soundtrack and they both had the same tempo and pitch. So, I’m guessing that the screener released earlier was sped up. (it was 25fps and this rip is 23.976fps)

    Even if there were no musical bits the story is good enough in its own right and you have got to see Borat in this. Love him or hate him, it doesn’t matter you will be catered for both.

    Depp is just awesome.

    I’ll even be buying it as my first high-definition movie when it comes out.

    I know some people don’t go to see a movie if it is overhyped, or too much has been built up around it but Sweeney Todd realy is an exception.
