The problem with any Acronis release is that they come with serial numbers. Acronis invariably gets to know of these and bans the serials. Then, backups and restores don't work. To my knowledge, the only one that seems to consistently work is one that came with a crack and keygen from AGAiN a few months ago. Just my opinion anyway…

Why did the "anonym.to" link (homepage) send me to regnow.com instead of acronis.com ?

serial will get blacklisted if not already so its useless without a proper crack

I hope this will work with SATA drives. I tried to start my PC with the Rescue disk made from Acronis 2009. But didn't start….

Norton Ghost can access SATA drives. So come on guys from Acronis

This is the only one that works extremely well. For those who say that no version works, you obviously haven't tried this one yet.

Acronis True Image 11 Build 8053 Home is the one I have, the versions after that I couldn't get to work. I just got a virus a few weeks ago and restored a back up image of vista in about 12 minutes or so with a bootable cd. You can find it here http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4021684/Acronis_True_Image_11_Build_8053_Home

I agree with jake @23, had the same problem with True Image Home 2009 getting blacklisted, I'm not chancing it again.
I use True Image Home 11 with SATA drive no probs.

I would say the only reason to try it is if you have windows 7 and want to try the new features.

@21 I used the patch of v2009 to this new release and it worked like a charm.

As mentioned by Jerry, this is useless. It doen't work any longer than the official trial. Acronis has already blacklisted this serial and it doesn't work after 14 days.

The best known working release is v12.0.0.9709 (2009) from D-L33T3, it comes with a crack, and doesn't expire after 14 days.

    2009 version 9796 works best.
    2010 version is slower…

This version didn’t work at all for backing up my clean install of Windows 7 x64. I wasted a few blank DVDs and a lot of time in the process. I’m trying Macrium Reflect now. Macrium has great reviews and best of all, it’s FREE!
