The aim of this website is to provide fresh information about new scene releases and also other interesting software and tech news. We’ve selected a blog-like style using Wordpress as the backend, which makes posting much more easier. Every post should include important links and also an option to download the torrent file discussed in the article. Please notice that we don’t want to become some warez portal - posting serials, cracks, keygens or direct links to warez is strictly forbidden and it will be deleted without warning. The purpose of Releaselog is purely informative. This website was founded in cooperation with NewTorrents.info, whose members also provides the most of the content.     I’ve been visiting this site daily since 2006.. The things that are driving me (for one) to stop coming here are:

    1)some releases are not worth writing about.
    2)some releases are important but not written here.
    3) lately, software/tv releases are taking most of the sites posts. for software, don’t post any sh!t that is released just post the good and rare ones. for tv, just post the 1st eps of each season so ppl know that it has started.. maybe some new pilots too.
    4) almost all of mr.x posts (not personal) but all he is interested in is nudity and porn. and he leaves a show for sometime then posts a punsh of post telling about the release of the eps although they are released weeks back.

    5) comments from some kids.

    Thanks and hope these things get fixed soon for the sake of a decent site.

    Staff: A small request, can you please post “The adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl”. My kids have seen it on Sky tv and are going crazy for it. Sadly, i d/loaded a german and a 3d which is like watching the movie with double vision.

    Hi love your site, but recently in firefox 2.0.0.9 the site does not display as it used to be. if i open it in a ie tab it looks great again, but firefox does not render the page as it should

    judging by the recent ban on posts with ‘bad words’ [unnecessary imho] it appears as if rlslog is attempting to appeal to a more adult [?], certainly more bourgeois audience.

    it would help greatly if the posters learned some basic english. the grammar of many current posters suggests that either the posters are not native english speakers or that if they are they have SAT scores in the low 300 range.

    many posts are embarrassing

    1. TWO, TOO, TO
    these words are not interchangeable

    ‘too’ has the sense of ‘also’
    eg I too am going to the movies
    NOT I to am going too the movies

    2. THERE, THEIR, THEY’RE
    these words are not interchangeable

    ‘there’ denotes a place
    ‘their’ indicates that ‘they’ have possession
    ‘they’re’ means ‘they are’

    eg Their cat is always going here and there; and they’re always chasing after it

    NOT There cat

    THAN, THEN

    “than” is comparative…more or less than
    “then” indicates time or sequence…

    eg Open the box, then take out the blue part, which is bigger than the red one

    NOT I went to the movies, than I masterbated [exception: southern hillbilles do say this]

    as of today it looks like rlslog has been dropping trojans into anyone using IE
    using firefox with all scripts banned, i have not had the problem, but looking at the site with IE my kaspersky av went wild
    why suddenly trying to infect people?

    Not only did the moron post spoilers in comment section but then he insults people who got angry. What is he ten years old??

    I have been watching Dexter all season and then Mr X posts spoilers in the season finale pre-air comment section without any sort of spoiler warning.

    This website deserves better than him.

    Sirs,

    I commend you on a splendiferous effort in developing and contributing to this website; none can fault you on the work attributed. For an English-language website, however, the grammar and spelling is abominable… The Queen Mum would lose sleep if she knew of it. I wager that either the majority of your contributors do not speak English as a first language (in which case, fantastic job chaps!), or the contributors are 13 years old. Perhaps, a mixture of the two.

    For example; “Researches developed battery with 10x longer charge”. Good god, man! I very nearly snapped my pipe in twix upon laying my eyes on such a headline.

    For Releaselog to become a website truly fit for those of a higher position, then perhaps a moment should be spent scanning for obvious grammatical errors in articles before submission.     I’ve been visiting this site for a few months now. I find myself skipping my emails in the morning, taking a pass on coffee and going right to this site! I don’t understand the people that post crying, sniffling little complaints here as I find this site very informative and stimulating. Not every post is going to be for everyone and so what if their is advertising, it’s a free site and they gotta keep it up and running!

    gotta say i love following release log for movie info and appreciate all the effort that goes into it, but the world of music on release log could use some help… many releases (that may or may not be “scene” releases) seemingly go unnoticed. And the music tastes of the posters on here do not qualify as mainstream… or even close to it… lol. Was expecting a post on here for the new Jack Johnson among others and was sad to see it never appeared. Anyone know of a good music release site?

    To Admin:
    I know rlslog is free and you guys do a great job and alot of work on this site,(couldn’t live without it) but, is there any way you could add 2 more categories?
    “Sports”(football games, boxing, ufc..etc) and “Stand up Comedy” (comedian stage performances…etc.)
    It would be sooo much easier to find these if they weren’t jumbled in with the other large categories.
    If you cannot, that’s fine. I will still continue to love this site.

    Hey Martin,

    Love the site and I’ve been addicted to it for some time now.

    One thing that seems to be a persistent problem is that people keep off-topic posting when there are new releases of movies out that they spot and link to etc.. Why not create a thread dedicated for just this purpose - posting notices about new movies just out? This would not only provide a clear avenue for keeping RlsLog current with all the latest releases when they come out but ALSO it would have the effect of cleaning up all of the other comments sections. Just a suggestion.

    The pop-ups are not that intrusive for starters, skip it. For those using Firefox, suggest getting the ie-tab addon, and open RLSLOG.net in an ie-tab - it does not crash using said addon :)
