What are selection viewpoints of release reviews?
2 scraggy: its mainly on editor, but we would like to cover all mainstream game and movie releases supplemented with interesting applications. what you will not find here for now is console and DVD-R, but it may change in the future…
Really nice page. One thing is nforce with its cold,down to the facts releases. This however, gives a much more colorful description of the releases with links,comments and pictures making the downloads a little bit more exciting than being just-another-download. If you know what I mean. Great layout, nice, easy-to-read and quite beautiful. Congrats!

Nope. My reason is that browsing is nowadays spoiled by multiple advertising opening extra windows. (Advertising I find a little bit too invasive in rlslog too. I hate when that ad comes up and you get that option to skip.)
So personally I block any automatic window opening. And I won’t give RLSLog the exception on that as they have advertising as mentionned.

Hi – a few weeks ago there was a post regarding a film – the film was made from clips of other films ( I think I even saw Robocop in it ) – and I think they we’re all downloaded clips – they did not get permission from the copyright holders – but IMDB did list it.
Please help me I’m going crazy trying to find the name of that film.

The scene of x264 encoded HD-DVD- and BluRay-rips are getting bigger and those realeases would be interesting to read about/get torrents from, through NTI/Rlslog. Is this something you consider? Seems that groups hV and SEPTiC is highly active on that. Have no idea if they are scene-accepted and soforth. Just a comment/wish.

i love this site and its great thanx for having such a great site but i’ve noticed that you guys recently have added short 30 sec movie clips of each recent movie and its a great idea but the fact that you guys host it on RAPIDSHARE sucks because you have to wait almost 191 minutes after you download something from them, and its really a hassle and i’m sure their are other sites that host data.

Things are quiet simple.
If you have a static IP don’t bother reading the next lines.
On the other hand if you have a dynamic IP the only thing you got to do in order not to wait like 4 hours, is to disconnect your connection, wait 10 secs, reconnect and a new IP is assigned to you, making it possible to download another file fron rapidshare. That’s how it works for me.

just wanted to know if any one has been hit with a trogen virus from visiting this site the last couple of days, as I got hit 3 times by it yesterday and today just from openning the page up.
The trogen is something about bypassing popup blocker. any idea’s as to why this has just started or if it can be removed from the site, as I think it piggy backs of ads would be good as I would rather keep coming here rather then looking somewhere else
I’ve been coming here for a long time and had no problems; always found it an excellent place to review movies. But within the last couple of days, when I connect I keep getting hit with “Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Professional” pop-ups; trying to load something and asking for the CD-ROM (which I find strange, because I’m running XP). I keep hitting cancel and another one comes up (over and over). After a while it finally stops, but when I go to the next page of movies, it starts all over with the pop-ups. Any idea what’s going on?

I mean you enter the site, click on games and then extra categories about the type of the game such as adventures, arcades, actions, simulations, FPS, RTS etc.
So if a user wants to see for instance what new simulations games are released, he just click games—>simulations.

I’ve been visiting this site daily since 2006.. The things that are driving me (for one) to stop coming here are:
1)some releases are not worth writing about.
2)some releases are important but not written here.
3) lately, software/tv releases are taking most of the sites posts. for software, don’t post any sh!t that is released just post the good and rare ones. for tv, just post the 1st eps of each season so ppl know that it has started.. maybe some new pilots too.
4) almost all of mr.x posts (not personal) but all he is interested in is nudity and porn. and he leaves a show for sometime then posts a punsh of post telling about the release of the eps although they are released weeks back.
5) comments from some kids.

I commend you on a splendiferous effort in developing and contributing to this website; none can fault you on the work attributed. For an English-language website, however, the grammar and spelling is abominable… The Queen Mum would lose sleep if she knew of it. I wager that either the majority of your contributors do not speak English as a first language (in which case, fantastic job chaps!), or the contributors are 13 years old. Perhaps, a mixture of the two.
For example; “Researches developed battery with 10x longer charge”. Good god, man! I very nearly snapped my pipe in twix upon laying my eyes on such a headline.

I’ve been visiting this site for a few months now. I find myself skipping my emails in the morning, taking a pass on coffee and going right to this site! I don’t understand the people that post crying, sniffling little complaints here as I find this site very informative and stimulating. gotta say i love following release log for movie info and appreciate all the effort that goes into it, but the world of music on release log could use some help… many releases (that may or may not be “scene” releases) seemingly go unnoticed. And the music tastes of the posters on here do not qualify as mainstream… or even close to it… lol. Was expecting a post on here for the new Jack Johnson among others and was sad to see it never appeared. Anyone know of a good music release site?

I know rlslog is free and you guys do a great job and alot of work on this site,(couldn’t live without it) but, is there any way you could add 2 more categories?
“Sports”(football games, boxing, ufc..etc) and “Stand up Comedy” (comedian stage performances…etc.)
It would be sooo much easier to find these if they weren’t jumbled in with the other large categories.
If you cannot, that’s fine. I will still continue to love this site.

Love the site and I’ve been addicted to it for some time now.
One thing that seems to be a persistent problem is that people keep off-topic posting when there are new releases of movies out that they spot and link to etc.. Why not create a thread dedicated for just this purpose – posting notices about new movies just out? This would not only provide a clear avenue for keeping RlsLog current with all the latest releases when they come out but ALSO it would have the effect of cleaning up all of the other comments sections. Just a suggestion.

The pop-ups are not that intrusive for starters, skip it. For those using Firefox, suggest getting the ie-tab addon, and open RLSLOG.net in an ie-tab – it does not crash using said addon
