I was goin nuts initially… but then i tried again…

So what you need to do is.. Goto the Ableton folder… Goto Program where the exe file is… just copy and overwrite the exe file in the crack to this folder…. After that… just double click the authorization file… and LO!

yep nikongirl im havin the same problems.. gettin frustrated with “This authorization file is invalid on this computer.”..
can someone explain exactly where the “install directory” is? or is that even the problem??

how do you get to the install directory maybe thats what Im doing wrong

I go to my c drive
program files
ableton
double click ableton8 authorization
and it says invalid

do I copy the folder to a diff place or something??

@48 i'm having the same problem. up comes a sign "this authorization file is invalid on this computer"? anyone any help? what do you mean by overwrite? i just copy the crack over to the install file and then clike authorise.auz, is this correct?

i don´t think, that a mac version is out yet.
i guess we just have to wait.
maybe i´m wrong ….

the 8.0.1 crack worked for me for a few days, then ableton started closing and showing the homepage with the 'copy violation found' box. same with this: worked for a while then stopped. Anyone have an idea why? Of all the comments on here, only one reports it not working :/
