Hi! GENERiC here. Some of you may remember me from last year and few post I’ve made. I wasn’t that much active editor, but from now on you can expect more posts/reviews from me. Anyways, back on release.
Ableton Live is popular tool for music production, DJ-ing, remixing and here is newest 8th version cracked by GRB group.
NOTE: I’ve provided in download links “crack only”, because you can get yourself downloadable trial version from Ableton’s official website and apply crack on it. Also there is one more release by GRB – ABLETON.SUITE.v8.0.1.READ.NFO-GRB, just in case to inform you. 
P.S. Yeah i know this is two days “old” release but i thought it’s still worth posting…

Rubs yep thats a fine piece of hardware, i suppose this is for windows only, i only managed to get ableton 5.2 to work in mac os.
[NUKE] CRACK DOES NOT WORK AS INTENDED.
i tried every version of ableton since the 1.5 release and it seems live uses a very advanced copy protection(?), many cracks FAIL to get around this obstacle.
they let you pass the serial/confirmation/registration but after some time of use ableton recognizes it has been cracked and throws out a
"COPY PROTECTION VIOLATION ERROR",

and quits.
this means we have to wait for a real crack.

Yes it does!
This app of Ableton 8 doesn't work. It installs and opens just fine but when you try to use the new racks in the drum racks it pulls up the Ableton website and then shuts down the DAW, freezing it actually.
Is this simply a matter of using your firewall to block Ableton or do we need a better crack?

Needs a better crack. Completely eradicating any trace of ableton and Live from all drives and directories does nothing. I'm thinking the program must refer to some secretly named file that's somewhere else, this includes not being connected to the internet through the whole process.
…with all the crappy, half-ass releases lately? First the Nexus expansion packs that are completely useless once you try and upload them to the library, then DOA comes along and releases Gladiator 2, which shuts down when you try to use it and now Ableton 8, which has the same problems as Gladiator with redirecting to their website before shutting down.
If you're going to release something, do it right, instead of giving people the expectation that something will work and then finding out its just a big turd.
We all appreciate the work that crackers have to do but if you can't make it work, don't release it and then brag about how great you are, it only embarrasses you in the end.
Somebody send the aforementioned programs along to Team AiR or Dynamics, where it can get done properly.

Really, let's send it to the proper groups, because I doubt they know about Ableton and wouldn't do anything about it until somebody let them know what it is.
Why do you think they haven't released it yet? Because they're WORKING ON IT so it will work the first time.
You know, you can use it fully functioning for 14 days, legally….either way if a proper isn't out by then you can still demo it.
Also if you really wanted to you could output the audio from ableton by routing it to another program to record it in realtime. (At least if you have a decent soundcard)
I have been playing with it most of the evening yesterday and it only crashed once..but I think that was my fault. There was no copy protection warning, and no ableton website launching. One thing I did that has not been mentioned yet on this thread is I ran the AbletonCleaner.BAT file that was going around with the the 7.0.1 release of Live…

Downloading Ableton Live 8 from the original website is about 200mb, and the release is about 400mb ???
Any ideas why?
Who is GRB anyway, what happened to Dynamics and AiR?
BTW, if Ableton Live (from the original website) would run in full mode for 14 days, without acquiring a serial for those 14 days,
wouldn't it be possible to run it in Sandboxie, and after 14 days delete it and ALL traces, and just install it again?
I used to make music with a hardware sequencer cause i hated Cubase and Logic.
But Ableton changed all that. Ableton Live is the best.

…I'm just going to stick with Ableton 7. I've been to the Ableton forum and everybody apparently is moaning about both the bugs and the lack of stability in 8 (which is to be expected, given any new software). And that's the uncracked version!
I'm sure the AiR and Dynamics guys are fully aware of Ableton 8 (at least I hope so because I have no idea how to contact them) so I'm just gonna wait it out and see what fixes and updates come out within the next month.
Given what I've seen of the new features and extras found in 8, they're not that big of a deal for my productions at the moment.
However, Gladiator 2 is really nice and I hope that somebody in AiR or Dynamics will read this and do something about it. It's too nice of a synth not to use.
Anyway, my two cents.
Anyone know where to get EIC2 and Session Drums? for some reason it looks like they aren't included in the ableton suite download above. They are authorized, but not installed.
Any thoughts?

1) the GRB-Release (~400MB)
2) the original Download-Version from Homepage (~200MB)
3) the link you provided above (~1,2GB)

The 200MB one is plain vanilla Ableton Live. Only virtual instruments are like…Simpler…maybe a couple others.
The 400MB one is Ableton Live which includes all the paid for virtual instruments like Operator and such…plus the drum machines pack….
The 1.2 GB one is Ableton Suite, which is supposed to include everything…..but it's missing several gigs of EIC2 and Session Drums. Everything else looks in-tact.

What do you mean new? A new place to download the same version of Ableton 8 that doesn't work or a new working version of Ableton 8?
Details usually help clear these things up instead of short posts with no helpful information whatsoever.
I think he meant new as in…new user.

My 2 cent is to telle waiting a bit for a new release with better crack…
I heard H2O team has been enroled by propellerheads. Now they are on the other side. no more releasre from them.
I can't only wait for a AiR or BEAT release… these are the best. pre-hacked… we just need to launch the exe and then play.
Finally Do as I did, go on http://www.ableton.com Download the demo and you will be able to unlock the demo as you can save and export in Ab'LIVE during 14 days.
Bright from those germans to give the opportunity of trying Fully their app for FREE.
Just one thing, it will authorize your demo each time you'll launch Live…. Need to be connected to the net for this but you don't have to be afraid and you will be able to try it without any cracked bug related

The crack is bogus. People praising this guy are inexperienced and not waiting the full 14 days of trial before posting here. Kids these days.
The additions of the full version instruments are nice and all, but without the program working after 14 days, its essentially useless. It can't be sandboxed offline either.
Its a repack of the version that you can download from the Ableton website and allows saving/exporting for 14 days, after which point the program will lock out and launch the ableton website prompting you to buy the full version ~30 seconds into working.
Garbage. Wait for Air to do it right.
