ABBYY Lingvo 3 is useful application for translation purposes with various available dictionaries to choose from.

Description: This multilingual dictionary contains more than 150 dictionaries of various types for 11 languages and allows users to translate words and phrases from Russian to English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Latin and back.

The dictionary entries contain detailed information on each word and word combination with possible translation, usage examples from real sources (such as books, newspapers and other publications), grammatical descriptions, synonyms, antonyms, spelling alternatives, phonetic transcriptions and audio pronunciations recorded by native speakers.

    It translates from Russian To other languages and back… But not between languages… SO if you want french to Spanish or English to french, this is not the software you want.
