Having modded a release blog before, i will say i understand the the pressure to release with haste as well as the incredibly long time it takes to prepare and format all the information RLSlog provides us with, its not fast or easy and spelling often suffers.

In rlslogs mods defense it does seem apparent that most dont speak/write english as a first lang. Thats fine and i appreciate what they do write about but being elite scenesters as they are the grammar and spell check options found in any WYSIWYG are capable of highlighting or even correcting most of these mistakes. Thats the point of my criticism, click 1 more button before you click publish.

My gripe is to see fascism start to rear its ugly head right here. Oh yes, it is negligible but it IS palpable. Not altogether infrequently, people do post racist, biased, unfair and insulting remarks and true to say Releaselog has until now been refreshingly lenient in that domain. After all, people are people and diverging views characterize who we are.

But now Releaselog (deferentially capitalized if you please), got some mettle. Let´s take a closer look: Ooooo, you posted the dreaded “First” in opening the thread, creating untold harm to our readers who already see this very same thing on a million other sites every year anyway. Our reason to ban this and your sorry ass is because, well, beyond the irreparable psychological damage perpetuated towards incalculable numbers of visitors, they all must now be forced to spend 300 milliseconds to scroll to the next post. Oh, such empathy for our unbearable sufferance! Right you are. Be honest, if you´re not lily-livered and intolerant, why give an eff, eh? Ah yes, all hail the directive of those in power, bow to the laughable febrile net hierarchy; sysop, admins, moderators and underlings. Or, equally, smell this: My word is law, ipso facto, I rule the minuscule kingdom of my site and therefore dictate the rule of law. And since my law is final, why yes, I’m an effing fascist.
