A short post because I had already finished this post but then Firefox crashed on me (goddamn 2.0!!) and now I really don’t feel like doing this stuff all over again. I’ll extend this post later when I’m less frustrated…

The L.A. of a not-too-distant future suffers a surge of drug abuse involving a new ultra-addictive and eventually brain-damaging substance simply named “D”. Bob Arctor is an undercover narc leading a double life, dutifully reporting to his superiors while effectively having abandoned whatever normal existence he had for a “D” user/dealer career. But this schizophrenic situation and the drug-induced memory and concentration lapses put Bob under mounting stress.

    Is this the English rip? The last one I downloaded was ‘english’ but was dubbed over by ONE GUY translating all the lines into German. lol Wow, was that a waste of a download!

    Just because you can’t understand and follow the plot, doesn’t mean everybody else also can’t. I found this movie to be quite good, not great though. They definitely had some interesting concepts in it. Eventhough the government being the one who produces and distributes the drug is nothing new. The idea itself isn’t even new, as some people think Reagan created crack so.. who knows.

    hello, anyone home in the brain of Awesome-O? i just said Renaissance had an easier plot, I didn’t say A Scanner Darkly was impossible to follow. The plot is just a bit more convoluted, that’s all. I think that’s the opinion of most people that watch it.

    Just a quick note re: the Firefox crashing problem.

    From what I’ve read, the problem isn’t Firefox but a hiccup with the Flash plugin.

    There is a new version of Flash – try that, and see if it solves your problem for you. Hope it helps!

    also, the dialogue of the crew was hilarious.
