A Mighty Heart is on. This impressive movie which was premiered on last Friday features noone smaller than Angelina Jolie - although you would probably have some difficulties recognizing her because of heavy makeup and foreign look. First reviews talk about a terrific performance from her. I would compare this movie to Babel or some similar flick - it is really interesting but it may be as well little boring in some pasages. This is just a very first cam in VCD though, so don’t expect too good quality: picture is dark and with ghosts…

On January 23, 2002, Mariane Pearl’s world changed forever. Her husband Daniel, the South Asia Bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal, was researching a story on shoe bomber Richard Reid. The story drew them to Karachi where a go-between had promised access to an elusive source. As Danny left for the meeting, he told Mariane he might be late for dinner. He never returned.
