A Man Apart 2003 iNTERNAL DVDRip XviD-CULTXviD

First of all I would like to apologize to Christian for deleting his post. It’s a long story about me still being part of the Releaselog Team. I started here months ago and I was posting like a maniac till the time I did not have time anymore when I thought about posting new releases of old movies. I created a category and day by day more old DVDRiP’s where posted on this category, a few weeks ago we got the 100th post with 12 decent movies in it. People who are here more than 7-8 months know that I have worked hard and I like having some exclusivity on the old movies.

I’m really happy seeing Releaselog growing day by day and I have to say the best for the current Releaselog Team, they all doing a great job. Now I would also like to thank you all for liking the old movies section. For the people who ask WHY? are old movies posted here, I post new releases of old movies, some people prefer to watch some movies that are way better than the ones that come out now, some others like to watch a movie that they might missed in the years before.

Let me say something about this movie, this Vin Diesel performance was a little bit different than the other ones we have seen in the past, decent movie in my opinion. CULTXviD has brought some decent releases in the past so you can trust them for sure. Enjoy!

Vin Diesel stars as Agent Sean Vetter, a DEA operative fighting the drug wars along the US/Mexican border. After a major player from the Baja Cartel is imprisoned, a new mysterious figure known as Diablo wrests control over the entire operation. But when Vetter’s wife is murdered in a botched hit, he and his partner (Larenz Tate) must join forces with the jailed Cartel boss to hunt down the dangerous and elusive new player. Directed by F. Gary Gray (The Negotiator, Set It Off), A Man Apart is written by Christian Gudegast and Paul Scheuring.

I remember Mike told this months ago that he will be the only one posting old movies.

But let’s get to an end of this.

    Bring some new stuff :D

lol. well i guess it’s a good thing to have staff fighting over who will post.

Mike, not sure if you regularly check these for old movies … but sometimes good ones. like classic or cult types.
    http://www.bt-chat.com/index.php? (i know old school)
and demonoid of course … though i’m really frustrated with them … poor seeding. been trying to download Mars Attacks for 2 days now. not even close yet.

I still would like to say something about this. In my opinion this behavior is way out of line for a site with such huge amount of readers. Mike, I think you’re way to selfish for this, no matter who started the old dvdrip section. In all of your posts it’s about “you remebering seeing this movie” instead of giving more information about a release. And it seems you really have seen 95% of all movies posted here. No offense man, but I think this site is more about giving info about scene releases then about you. Just be more coopperative. (Sorry for my bad english btw)

That’s so fuckin childish. Besides the fact that nobody cares about a re-release of a 4 year old movie…

This proves one thing : by behaving like little kids, and posting movies that every scener could have downloaded 4 years ago, we’re able to tell that the kids who run rlslog must be 14 or something like that (and that’s the reason why they didn’t download the original rls).

    Super.

Your efforts are much appreciated Mike. Keep ‘em coming. People who don’t like the post please move on to the next one. No one cares what you thought anyway.

  23. August 11th, 2007 | 18:00

i’m so tired of seeing this post! i’ve been looking @ it for the past day or two! doest it really matter that someone posted a movie in your category? just get the rest from now on

    At 23. Sam
Actually the old movies section is great. A lot of people care about movies which were released, 4 years ago or more. Movies don’t get worse with time you know, and its nice to find great quality releases of these movies.

I think you are right, I have this thing written often in my posts, I’ll try to stop it.

    @ Sam
first of all, the rlslog admin is Martin and he is older than 20… im 22 and yes, we have a poster of 15 years old who makes great posts.
second, my answer for those who don’t like the old dvdrip movies is stated at the end of my message (look at the top)

Mike, here is one of the best sites that i have come across for older movies, also loads of horror, b-movies and very hard to find films.

    http://tracker.zaerc.com/

Look I’ve got the subs to work on the cd1 of this movie, but don’t know what to name cd2 to get those to work. I have had trouble with subs in the past with different movies could someone please post here and clarify about the non-hard subs for me. I would be very grateful for your help.

Come on guys don’t be shady. They always say enjoy, but I can’t because of the freakin’ subs. HELP!!!

  34. August 11th, 2007 | 19:09

look, the subs should have the same name as the avi file

    movie.cd1.avi
    movie.cd1.idx

    movie.cd2.avi
    movie.cd2.idx

maybe the problem is in the software u use

    try VLC player
or windows media player with vob sub

  35. Unfading
    August 11th, 2007 | 19:20

Mike I appreciate your response, but that doesn’t work. If I name cd1 the same as the sub file it doesn’t work some how I found a name where the first subs work, but not for cd2. Tha ks anyway. By the way this site is outstanding. These guys getting all bent out of shape over this one thing is ridiculous in my opinion. Keep up the good work.

Unfading, try opening the subtitle file with the video in VLC through File–>Open File, then direct VLC to the correct subtitle file (by ticking “Use subtitle file” and also to the corresponding video file. Then go to Video–>Subtitles Track and choose your needed subtitle track. Hope this helps.

Yeah i enjoy the old movie posts also – keep up the good work.

But i think deleting the previous post and then reposting this was a bit uncalled for. Strange that the staff complain about the bitching in the comments and then do things like this.
