Unknown group RCDiVX pre a nice DVDRip of “88 Minutes “ staring Al Pacino. Personally I have never heard of this movie, but I am goingg to watch it since it has an interesting plot and it stars the legendary Al Pacino. The basic story is Al Pacinos character recives a death threat saying he has only 88 minutes to live and then goes on from there. Quality of this release is great coming in at 2 CDs at 1.39 GB with 384 kbps ac3 audio and. If you want to see this movie this release will certainly not disappoint. Download and enjoy 
Plot: In Seattle, the successful forensic psychiatrist and college professor Jack Gramm is in evidence since he was responsible for the condemnation of the serial killer Jon Forster, influencing the jury to sentence him to the death row. Jon accuses Jack of manipulation, inducing one witness and sister of one of his victims to testify against him. On the eve of Jon’s execution, Jack receives a phone call telling him that he has only eighty-eight minutes of life, while a killer is copycatting Jon, killing women with the same “modus-operandi” and is investigated by Seattle Slayer Task Force. With the support of his former wife and associated Shelly Barnes, the FBI agent and his friend Frank Parks and his assistant Kim Cummings, Jack investigate some weird and problematic students, a security guard of the campus and the woman with whom he had one night stand.

This is nearly a dupe, the original release never made it to the screens due to legal studio complications, I can’t be bothered to check but I assume there is some difference in studio / distributor credits. The scenes should be carbon copies though.

Hi, I didnt find this movie interesting. I’m even surprised Pacino actually took the part. The plot seems to be involving but only up until you realise it is cheap. Stupid ending – very B-class thriller like.

Wide Screen (16:9), different from Full Screen (4:3)

Actually, the previous release was “standard” widescreen, 1.85 (16:9, letterboxed), this one is anamorphic ws, 2.35 (47:20).

Please don’t waste your bandwidth on this movie. It’s seriously just garbage. Okay that’s harsh but it definitely sounded like a good plot at first but it just went in the wrong direction at all times. I expected sooo much more. I don’t wanna give any spoilers, but plot holes seem to be a favorite method of whoever directed this movie.

Wathced the movie and it was quite okay acutally, not as bad as many write her.

Pacino, along with De Niro, has seemingly opted for very dire material rather any films of substance it seems. Shame really when you think they are still two of the best actors of all time.
If you want any further indication of the above, you only have to look at Righteous Kill out this year. The first film the two were together in was The Godfather Part II, a film which quite rightly is one of the best of all time. The next film they did afterwards was Heat, which I’d say enough time has now passed to call it an outright classic. And now they’re following it up with Righteous Kill – directed by the same director as this 88 Minutes and co-starring 50 Cent. Test screenings say that the film is pretty dire and I have to say the trailer pretty much confirms this.
What a shame.

wasn’t Pacino’s greatest flick, but i still watched it cause it’s Pacino. he’s the man. story line is “ok”…not that predictable like monkey says…
I watched this movie last May for the same reason as everyone, Pacino. It has a decent concept but that’s all, it’s just trash really for most of the way through. I don’t know why Pacino did this role, it’s probably one of the worst movies I’ve seen in the last year. Even worse than 27 Dresses.

WOW. Seriously, I had no sweet clue this movie was already out to download!!!!!!! I am so excited, I am a huge Pacino fan, and I am so excited for this release (even if it is a nuke… I never heard of it)!
