Phil Jupitus and at a panel game show has always meant a hilarious time for me. Last time I saw him was at “Never mind the Buzzcocks” which is a hilarious show and has been posted here by me before. This one is hosted by Jimmy Carr who dosen’t quite bring the funnies like Simon Amstell does, but should be a good watch nontheless. The sound seems very off on this release. It cuts and there are some volume variations, but it looks like the editor of the show was just sort of an amateur. If not, the rls will be nuked.

Phill Jupitus and Claudia Winkleman guest on the irreverent panel show hosted by Jimmy Carr. Teams captained by Sean Lock and Jason Manford answer questions based on opinion polls carried out around the country to see who best understands what is going on in Britain today.

    I was comparing “8 out of 10 Cats” to “Never Mind the Buzzcocks”.

    I think Carr is funny on occasion, but he tends to go with cheap and easy sex oriented jokes that are sure to get laughs. Not something for me.

    Simon Amstell better than Jimmy Carr? While I very much like them both, I do think Carr’s delivery is far better than Amstell’s and that’s what makes him funny to be honest. Actually, I probably like them about the same- but for entirely different reasons. And there were a couple of audio problems on the tv broadcast, so that’s probably why they’re on this release too :)

    Jimmy Carr is much funnier than Simon Amstell, his standup is some of the funniest i’ve seen/heard.

    Mock the Week is a pretty good panel show as well.

    Dara O’Briain is a funny presenter and they tend to have good team captains guests like Frankie Boyle.

    i love this show and always miss it on friday night so it’s good be able to download them as my sky+ box is up the creek

    this show is so funny, one of the funniest on tv, i loved the “cat that talks and knows secrets” joke had me in tears

    Simon Amstell is 70 times funnier than JC. In almost every different show of Jimmy Carr I have heard the same jokes repeated. How many times did we hear that ‘you’re fattest’ joke’? It was funny, but keep it original for god sakes.

    Simon never repeats himself and is very tounge in cheek, always a smart underlying joke which are usually much cleverer and funnier than Jimmy’s who just slaps you in the face with his repetitive over-prepared inflexible jokes.

    I have found JC funny, certainly, but he’s not nearly in Simon’s leauge.
