@65 I thought Clint was decent and the movie was good...but all the other actors in the movie really sucked. Tao (Toad) was good when he was playing a quiet shy guy...but as soon as he started talking, his inexperience as an actor was HORRIBLE to watch. And the sister was the same, only really annoying because of the personality she portrayed (which I think was partially her's since she was a bad actress)

I wish he had put real actors in those roles instead of going for authenticity with Hmong people playing the roles.

I really liked Batman Begins but when it comes to TDK I must say that it doesn't come close. It just didn't feel right, it was way too cheesy. Might have someting to do with the way American people think. I have talked to many of my german mates and they all agreed that the movie was boring and didn't touch them a lot.

don't let them mess around in your head too much...

Is this list for real? No Dark Knight in best motion picture (drama)????

Absolutely ridiculous.

Also, anyone saying that if Ledger hadn't died, there'd be no awards talk was obviously under a rock during the time BETWEEN filming and his death - there was a LOT of Oscar buzz before he died.

Revolutionary Road is a brilliant, daring movie. It might have lost some of its impact because the subject of life in the 'burbs has been tackled before, i.e. American Beauty; but if it was a waste of time for you I'd suggest you either grow a brain or go back to watching the newest comic book movie.

Burn After Reading wasn't funny. In Bruges was superb. What the hell is Pineapple Express doing on any list?

I can't make a final judgment until The Reader and Doubt leak... Hopefully very soon!

these awards dont mean much i think, it's judged by ppl who only rates movies based on how well it's made and how well the actors play their role. i see some movies that are nominated several times and they're either really stupid or movies no-one would even talk about. doubt, the reader, the wrestler, and Mamma Mia! ?!?!?!??!?! wth?! i guess im too young to appreciate those sort of films lol.
