50 Cent – Curtis (Clean) (2007)
Alright here’s another Hip Hop album “Curtis” from Hip Hop’s second richest artist 50 Cent. Like the Kanye album this is another album where many people were waiting for. It seems that 50 Cent has already released 4 singles from his new album first being Amusement park, second Straight to the bank, the third being Ayo Technology ft. Justin Timerblake and Timbaland and the last single Follow my lead ft. Robin Thicke…looks like he’s trying to promote this album to the max. This is a clean version of the album released from group CMS hopefully there should a dirty version coming out soon. The album drops out on the 11th of September the day as Kanye’s. Enjoy!

I’ve been a fan of 2pac since I heard “pain” on the Above the rim OST. He might nog be the best rapper ever, but he was smart, had a really deep voice, good lyrics and he was true to what he said. Anybody who claims that 50 cent is better than 2pac, is either a 10 year old, a complete numbfuck or deaf. And yes rap and hip hop (for as far as real hip hop exist) are in a uninspiring fase. It has a lot to do with the commercialization of the music, enforced mainly by white record bosses.
50cent has no skills as a rapper, his success is image based and his lyrics and songs can’t even stand in the light of people like 2Pac, Rakim, Eminem, KRS one, NAS (And the list goes on and on). He admitted that he can’t battle rap, in fact he has never battled against anybody. If you can’t do a freestyle head to head battle, you are not worthy to be called a legend in the rap game.
Eminem lost 2 battles in his whole life, he entered the Rap O lympics and battled rapper after rapper coming out victorious every single time. Spitting out lyrics that actually make sense, making it up while he was rapping.
If you think that Rap and Hip Hop are not music or a skill, you are sadly wrong about that fact. It’s a skill and a powerful music lifestyle. It has nothing to do with gangsters or violence, it’s an art that takes years of practice.
And yes there are people around that abuse that art by spitting about useless topics, money cars and women. I suggest everybody who doesn’t understand rap and hip hop to listen to real legends like RAKIM, KRS ONE, A TRIBE CALLED QUEST, COOL HERC, BIG DADDY KANE, SLICK RICK, CYPRESS HILL and the list goes on and on!
