3rd GTA IV Trailer Online!
The 3rd trailer for the upcoming game GTA IV has been unleashed by Rockstar a few hours ago and is now available for your viewing pleasure. This new trailer called “Move up, ladies” it adds a quite a lot of new information to the game and is 2 minutes 3 seconds long (2:03). GTA IV is expected to be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 between February and the end of April 2008 having been pushed back from its original release date in late October 2007. A PC version has not been announced but it should be out in a year or so if the PC GTA releases of the past are anything to go by.
I dont think anyone can deny that this game looks like a ton of fun and i for one cant wait to get my grubby lil hands on it. I’m off to watch the trailers a couple more times…

i’m still pissed that they delayed the game for about 8 months only less then a month before its release…this might be the last GTA we see unless someone else takes it over.

Looks awesome and you all can bet on anything that there will be a PC version, maybe even faster than we are used too.
If this is out on the 360 and PS3 in February we could have the PC version in November, that would really kick ass.

As soon as this comes out the stock is going to sky rocket, you’ll be rich, it’s trading at a low price right now, the stock went down when they announced that GTA was delayed, that just gave myself and others to pick it up on the cheap, once the game comes out, watch out.
i just don’t understand why it takes so long for GTA games to come out on pc. I much prefer playing them on a pc than a console.

I must say people are forgetting about the recent and past news. News like GTA:SA hot coffee scandal, Bully ratings issues, Manhunt 1 and 2 ratings issues???
No doubt we see a toned down GTA4 which will drive down stock.
gfx isn’t thath good…character’s movements is stale…rockstar can come up with good concept but everything else would have been better if made by other company..
I’m more excited about No More Heroes on the Wii. It looks like a ton of fun and (uncommon recently in games)original with exception of Mass Effect.
Rather delay the game and test it out for bugs etc.. then to rush a crappy product out.. Compared to the second trailer these graphics look a little more.. hmm.. cartoony? or cell shaded perhaps? something has changed anyways I just can’t figure out what. When I saw the second trailer when it came out the animation was a bit “choppy” in some scenes where there was alot going on and you could see long distances (think it was the “car chase” scene near the end, like the framerate dropped too much or something.
Anyways I’d much rather play this game with a little “cartoony” gfx if it gives you a steady framerate and I hope the delay means they are polishing on the gameplay aswell.
Oh, and I also think there actually might have been some actual in-game footage in this trailer (some of the fighting/shoot-out scenes) but not 100% sure though. All in all, looks like it’s going to be an excellent game once again.
Looks like it has a very good storyline, rockstar always had good ideas, as for the graphics, definitely a huge leap from San Andreas, i heard there were gonna be certain restrictions towards flying and some vehicles, i hope this doesnt drag the fun down or limit the stuff you can do, but im confident Rockstar will prevail ,they’ve always made good games in the past, ill be getting this for 360 asap!

for me GTA 3 was the best GTA that ever created. i remember the day it went out, dont think most of had a computer then, but, even ugly crysis wasn’t that populare, thought the internet is gonna collepse. its was amazing, never saw anything like that, except maybe when doom 3 was released.

It’s of of the best game franschises on the planet, and it’s sad that it’s been 3-4 years since the previous GTA-SA.
But due to Mircrosoft paying millions to get it on the Xbox360,
and then delaying it to cause PS3 christmas sales damage.
The PC Version should be released at the exact same time as the Xbox and PS3 versions.. This was orginally released on PC’s first, and consoles later (GTAII etc)
The fact is Rockstar/2K have sold out to MS and Sony, and have left PC users with scraps and bad ports. Due to the delay until next year, the PC version should be sold alongside the others, like COD4 for example or orange box.

Vice City was by far the best. Maybe younger players that didn’t live through the 1980’s didn’t get it much, but it was by far the most over the top and hilariously clever parody of those times. I would just drive round the city, listening to the tunes, the ads for Atari and Rambo…er..the Degenetron 2000 and Evacuator, the exploder part II-But I’m a man of peace!-Tim, and the talkback of Reagan-era nutters and those modernist and new wave horrors-:In the future there will be robots:)) Plus of course the great Steve Irwin rip-off, even if it was a decade too soon:)
I was disappointed by San Andreas in comparison. Though gameplay was fine, it lost that charm as the gangsta culture thing just took itself too seriously. There wasn’t the parodying of it to anywhere near the extent of Vice City, and I would have thought the whole baggy pants MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Public Enemy thing would have been ripe for hilarious sendup. Even the radio commentary was laboured and unfunny.
I’m also disappointed that they chose another modern New York setting. Would have been great for a 70’s setting for if they could recapture the form of Vice City, there isn’t an era more obvious to make fun of.
Yeah truly agreed with Abides… The best thing was the music in Vice..even las venturas was not as attractive as vice. IV cud have looked much better if they think of sum miami or beach city settings. but looks like rockstar always want to start a new gen game with liberty city and then vice city.
and i’ve heard that stealing a car is not as easy as in the previous versions….i wud love to see how Niko steals a car.

SA was too big for it’s own good. Even in a jet it was like 5 mins to get to the other side of the map.

Weirdly enough every birthday ive had except this year when they bumped IV to 2008, there has been a GTA release and ive gotten them all, i wont mention below GTA 3 since those cant compare, but my all time favorite is GTA Vice City, that game may be my all time fav, beautiful city, nice story, good characters, and a hell of a nice soundtrack, GTA SA, indeed was too friggin big, but it was pretty good too.
What they need to do is get rid of that same crappy shotgun sound they’ve used for every GTA since III.

delays? think of it this way, in most cases dalaying a game will only make it better when it finally comes out. so stop complaining about delays. would you rather have a rushed game that sucks (so you’ll be whining about it forever) or wait for it and find out that it kicks ass when it gets released?

But they been out for so long. GTA vice city added speach, GTA san andreas added swimming.
I dont think GTA can have many new “special” ideas that they can keep bringing out. I used to love the game now im a bit meh,

Too true about making cities so big they lose character, are tedious to drive in and have lots of empty space. RPG’s are also notorious for making the world so big its a chore to get around and also even though big, there isn’t often much to do. Oblivion is an obvious example. Companies need to make tighter worlds like that of Vice City or Gothic where as a player you could easily know your way around it, yet still be packed full of things to do.

@56 afaik you could travel using the map with oblivion so it’s not really a problem. The game was too open and free for my tastes though.
Vice city has the best story, but San Andreas has better gameplay, so I dunno. I like them both alot.
GTA3 was nice because it was new + I like the time setting more. I’m excited this new GTA4 also isn’t in the past.
I think I’m going to install gta3 again, since I haven’t played that in ages (unlike VC or SA)
