when i run vantage it goes to first test and crashes then after a few seconds my pc bluescreens. its a 3dmarkvantage problem. thank you very much rlslog for sharing this.

Halo 2 doesn’t require DX10
Halo 2 installer does. Crack the installer and you have a working Halo 2 on XP. That’s how it was released, check the facts next time.

No. Maybe if you have an old computer, but if you have at least a dual core with 2gb of ram vista will be faster in all areas. It addresses memeory above 2GB waaay better than XP will ever be able to. Everything is twice as fast on vista if you have the right setup. Same computer with XP i was getting around 50-60fps in bioshock/cod4, when I upgraded to Vista I now get 90-130fps on the same exact hardware.

Halo 2 came out for the original Xbox in 2004.

Halo 2 came out for Windows last year and requires DX10.

I refuse to change from XP to Vista, it’s a shame this program no longer supports XP. Microsoft shouldn’t try to pressure people so hard into buying a crappy OS.
