300 TS XViD-20th
A few days ago the movie came in cam version and now in telesync. The movie is great, have seen it on the big screen and suggest you do as well. The next day I have found Frank Miller’s strip book and it looks the same, a great job like they did in Sin City, but this time much better. The video samples look nice and I suppose some of you will watch the movie just with this kind of quality. Enjoy!
Edit: Sorry but I really have to laugh about all this that Iraq is doing at this moment about the movie “300″. I think they just want to make a commercial of their country just because of the movie. The movie is not made against Iraq or the Persians, the film is based upon Frank Miller’s comic book, if you take a look at the book and at the movie, 90% is really the same. I didn’t hear them complaining about the comic book 9 years ago and I don’t think Warner Bros wanted to give Persians a bad image.

OKay, here we go again.
Rars are used for scene releases, there’s no point in explaining why, cause none of you will listen, just know that a scene release group packs it’s releases in rars.
For torrents the rars aren’t really needed, BUT if they are scene releases, and the torrent site is a site like NTi that only deals with scene releases, they keep them packed.
Look at it this way. You can buy a brand new xbox 360 from me for 400$. OR you can buy the same exact xbox 360 from my friend, for 400$ with no box.
When dealing with scene release torrents, that’s the mentality, keep them i nthe scene package, simple as that.
And if you think the scene groups are releasing via torrents you are a moron.

one of the early stages of a scene release takes place on news servers, which quickly distributes the files to the fast seeders who are going to release it to the bittorrent networks. news servers used to have a 14mb message limit, some servers still do, thats why the scene breaks them up into 14mb chunks.
They are rar’d so many people can upload a rls to a fast site at one time. When I was trading within the scene. There was a site that got the full movie (1.39) gigs in like 3mins. Soon as it pre’d on another site, everyone jumped on and started uploading. I was lucky to get in 2 rar files. Was an amazing site. Those were the days.
But now we got torrent, no need to trade zero day anymore
It’s rarred so multiple couriers will have what amounts to an upload “race”. The reason they race is that most of the couriers are on ratio FTP accounts, so the more you upload, the more credits you get. By breaking it into RARs, it is distributed MUCH MUCH quicker, thus finding it’s way down to the torrents MUCH MUCH quicker. And by MUCH MUCH quicker, I’m talking minutes instead of hours or hours instead of days.
Thomas, what this means is that the bottom feeders, like you, can get your torrents that much quicker. By having it in rars it actually benefits everybody, including the n00bs like you. You’re so ignorant that you’re complaining about something that’s actually benefiting you. Every time somebody complains about the rar’s, you’re just pointing out how low on the food chain you are and how ignorant you are. You are the people likely to be served with a civil suit by the MPAA/RIAA due to ignorance. rant over.

Its just these things happened for real. The comic book and the movie are based on true historical facts. Frank Miller in his comic book has done an exceptional work in telling the real story so has the movie. I could only point out some omissions e.g. about Themistoklis and the naval battle which took place at the same time with the Battle of Thermopylae, but I guess that not everything can be shown in a 2 hour movie especially when the creator want to stress specific aspects of the story and not others.
I loved this movie in contrast to the movie for Alexander the Great which was a total distortion of the historic figure of Alexander.

I knew rars came from Newsgroups. Never having used a Newsgroup due to the subscription fees, I didn’t know they had file size limits of 15megs. Thank you to the people who share information easily, who don’t take part in the elite/noob superiority stupidity. Ignorance should be corrected with information, not with disdain.
Here’s my problem with rars, and they’re valid ones too.
1. Corrupt Archives. When a file is a complete unaltered avi, I never experience data loss. If one out of 57 rars goes wrong, poof.
2. They take double the space. I run with low disk space all of the time, constantly having to burn data onto dvds. I like complete, factory ripped images with all the extras. These are at least 4.2Gbs. If you receive it in a rar, it takes awhile to unpack, and it also will take 8.4+Gbs of memory.
Anyway, I got a hold on the 20th release. Good quality, near theater.

The movie quality is VERY much worth watching, I’m telling you. Just check out the sample. It doesn’t LOOK like some shitty CAM job. The audio has very little bass or mid tones. Making some dialogue hard to hear.
Getting this high quality video for a movie that was just released in theaters is amazing. This is worth your time, unless your a video quality dork.
Being packed in 14.5 MB files denotes “authenticity” under the assumption that the file is the original downloaded from an alt.binaries newsgroup as 14.5 MB is the preferred filesize for binary downloads. WinRAR and it’s Posix Shell based counterparts were originally the first compression applications that natively featured splitting and rejoining files in this nature. Also, that’s what the sfv file is there for. It contains a CRC checksum (although not the best, it’s the traditional) used to verify the integrity of each piece. Check the CRC of the file vs it’s value in the sfv. If you downloaded a bad file, you only have to redownload that file in your newsreader. That’s assuming you are on NNTP in the first place, and in that case you wouldn’t be here with sand in your vagina debating “packaging” and “plz unrar thim, i dun no how too tip3″. Seriously, join an alt.binaries group and quit bitching or be thankful that someone who pays for the service actually releases them on BT.

This 300 seems to have a little better video then the latest release.Even though the audios are different,converting to MP3 seems to fix this little glitch for joining CD 1 & 2
Yeah, this one is really good quality. It’s the best telecine you could ever see, only a small step away from dvd quality when i play it on my phillips standalone player. On the computer it looked a bit dodgy and too dark, but i can adjust the brightness on my tv and it look great. I don’t know if the quality is better than the lrc release because that torrent was the slowest torrent i’ve ever seen and i couldn’t even get the sample after one day. I’d recommend this one, the speed of the torrent is good and so is the quality. As for the missing bits, that’s another matter, but if you can live with it it’s a good copy. Only tech nerds would consider this a bad copy; these are the same guys who think it’s bad to see it on normal film stock and are demanding HD versions.

i have downloaded 300 TS XVID. There are 2 folders CD1,CD2 containing rar files and 1 folder containing a sample file.
These rar files seems to be corrupted or unknown format. What is going on?
