I don’t think I have to say anything about this release and neither for the group who brought it out, so I’ll keep it short. The movie has not even reached the half of the planet and a decent quality release is here. I still suggest everybody to go and see the movie in the cinema and watch this release as 2nd, I watched the movie once in the cinema and I might go twice. For people who think it’s not worth it, enjoy this one!

“300″ is an adaptation of Frank Miller’s epic graphic novel. Using hyper-real renderings similar to Miller’s own graphically stylized illustrations, the film tells the true story of 300 elite Spartan warriors led by their fearless king Leonidas (Butler), who thwart the charge of Xerxes and his massive Persian army at the battle of Thermopylae. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian foe, leading to the origins of democracy.

Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, “300″ is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy.     Yeah, well, compared to a TS or WP it’s good, but compared to the standard DVDScr it’s washed out, there is only stereo sound and as long as there is no 2CD Retail Rip with 5.1 I won’t watch it.

    I got the files over newsgroups in about 30 mins, have watched bits of it as at work and shouldn’t really, picture looks great and sound appears to be great as well, but that was through headphones

    Mr. ekr3peeK this is called keeping balance.Leonidas has already kicked the Persian and his leg is desceding to step on the floor.It’s a normal movement last time i heard.

    The large screen is the way to go…. you see so much more and as they say “it’s bigger than life”. Robert Rodriquez virtual depiction of the incident is something to see and there is so much more detail to view that on a smaller screen you would lose.

    This watchable… but a DVDSCR? I doubt that very much as it’s blurry as hell.

    No matter, like people have said time and time again. If there’s any reason to go to the theatres nowadays, it’s movies like this.

    So, everyone, download the sample and tell me when he pulls his sword out if you also get a very loud, very sharp, crackling audio sound. is the whole movie going to click and pop like that? or maybe they just fucked up their sample…. hopefully that’s it…

    @R1pper sorry don’t know what that error is. try a different .nzb and check if the files all have the same size. also check if there are any .par2 files included in your dl. google it.

    From what i know this newsserver is mainly for the Netherlands and it’s surrounding countries. Maybe it has ip location check(?) anyone from USA able to to use it?

    This is the first time in a very long time I’ve gone to the theatres to see a movie, but I did for this one. Go see it in the theatre, it’s a true spectacle to behold with a massive screen and blaring surround sound. You cannot miss this.

    I think that the last years we haven’t seen any good movies and finally Frank Miller’s 300 came and changed a little bit things.Greek history and mythology has great stories that can be told but Snyder did a wonderful job…something that a lot of others have tried and failed!This movie is worth seeing and even double seeing it.

    Nice. I doubt the scr label. Very nice TC though.
    So howcome the sound is distorted? Too high input volume at recording?
    That’s my excuse naming this an excellent TC and not a scr. while normally the sound at a dvd isn’t distorted.
    I think they added direct audio to a TC image.
    And, could be me, but I think i’m experiencing very slight sync issues.
    Nevertheless this is the one to grab for the time being.
    2 cents.

    Earlier around 100kB/s, now 250kB/s, my internet connection is slow lately (it’s shared) so it might be limiting factor. I had no problems with connecting, I’m from Poland btw.
