You did make one valid point I’ll grant you that. Debating with people of your ilk is a waste of my time. But since you’re such a sitting duck and a particularly arrogant one, I’ll gladly use you as cannon fodder to bring you down a peg or two.
I see where you are coming from. Your idea of ‘good clean fun’ is something akin to being an ‘aXXo hater’. Spiteful, intolerant haters like you make the world so swell. And if aXXo was no more you would gladly transfer your hate on someone else.
You backed your opinions with facts? Man, that’s rich considering your opinions consist exclusively of throwing expletives at aXXo and anyone who appreciates his files.
Speaking of which, there is no faulty logic when comparing one movie file with another in terms of overall quality. Since you perceive aXXo as crap then the overall quality of nonDVDrip scene files must rank as sewage at best.
Now the fun begins. You decided to get personal with the baseless assumptions in your final paragraph. I take umbrage at that. Oh, ho, ho, I’m a lightweight? Kid, – I assume you are one given your restricted reasoning abilities – you don’t even attain FEATHERWEIGHT status. I think a 1.4Gb dload is huge??? Kid, you crack me up! Why don’t you tell that to my alx alienware with four 1TB hard disks stuffed inside. Better yet, tell that to BOTH of them and I’m sure my Dell XPS would like to join the fun too. And my download speed sux??? Really? 1.4Gb in 36 minutes sux? Oh, and in two months I will triple that with vdsl. My (downloaded) movie collection totals 3200 and counting. So, who’s the noob now, buddy? Ever heard of being fattened up for the kill? Taken to the slaughterhouse? I chose the nick MovieMan for a reason.
One last comment: maybe you would like to tell how aXXo is such crap to the guests who watched his rip on my plasma and who all thought it was a DVD.

Why should I? They have their own legitimate place in the scene. From worst to best for xvids (qualitywise): Cam>TS>TC>R5/DVDSCR (dunno which comes first)>DVDRip. If I must, then I judge them on what they are. You can’t compare a cam to a dvdrip, thats just dumb. Whats dumber is when a movie has just been cammed or TS’d and an aXXo fanboy says something like “the picture quality is crap! aXXo would do a better job!” Uh, how?! A scene DVDRip is nowhere near being released, aXXo has to wait for the goods to show up first before it weaves it’s magic!

Look, at the end of the day there’s no honour among thieves – even within the scene – so there’s really no point in me arguing that scene groups do the things they do to release a movie only to have it reencoded and compressed by aXXo, because you’ll just say “they’re both free but aXXo is smaller so I’ll have the aXXo ktnxbai”.

aXXo can continue to compress 2 disc scene rls into 1 disc for as long as it wants to. It can get it’s praises sung from quantity-over-quality lovers. I reserve my right to download scene rls that are 1 disc, 2 discs, DVDR, and hate what aXXo makes. You have the right to download aXXo files and continue to think that people who don’t download them are delusional because they like to download scene releases.

And yes, I stand by my statement that BT is mostly full of noobs. Mostly hit-and-run people who find out from a friend of a friend that they can get stuff on the net for free. Then once they have their files they don’t know what to do with them, even though google will answer almost all of their questions. Read the comments in any popular torrent and you’ll see “how do i download this? i only get a file called torrent” “how do i play this movie?” “i downloaded this game but its split into 50 parts all called rar how do i play it?”. Now, I’m not calling YOU a noob, I’m saying that BT is mostly full of them. But if you feel offended by what I said, you know what they say about the shoe if it fits…

I’m done with this so-called “argument” too. This board is for the 300 rls that needs a good old propering from a good old scene group, aXXo not included This movie didn’t really live up to its hype anyway.

We stated our opinions. We backed them up with facts. U r just taking our wourds outta context in the attempt to make us look like ungrateful SOBs. Of course, you can do that. It’s your time, waste it at leisure.
But, again, think twice b4 u throw faulty logic at us. U r comparing TC, TS and Cam to Dvdrips. We talked ONLY about the latter. Those r 2 different things, the difference being made by timig: the aforementioned releases, i.e., TC, TS, Cam, arrive pretty soon after teh movie gets released in teh theatre. Dvdrips imply dvds. Period. And yes, millions r delusional if they in fact consider axxo crap quality. I am not gonna repeat what i said in my proior post, cause i think u can read it yourself from above.
In the end, just cause your dload speed sux, and u think that 1.4Gb dload is huge while the rest of us r already moving towards FULL DVD and HD dloads doesn’t mean that u r right. Just, as some of us already hinted, that you r indeed a noob.

sometimes groups can get away with releasing scene stuff as something else. For example, before people started labeling Russian sources as R5/R5 LINE, they would label it TC, DVDSCR or DVDRip. Sources from hotel movies were released as DVDSCR a while back too if I remember correctly. Lets hope a proper scene grp gets this.

And fuck aXXo. sure, he/she/it is “providing stuff for free” but it’s all crap, mostly incorporating shitty downsampled rerips of good scene rls. 2 hour+ movies on 1 cd? I’d rather burn my eyes out. And the only reasons why aXXo is the most searched term is because:
1) searching DIAMOND, DONE or DEITY (one of you 3 D’s had better get this movie first!) gives you more than just movies, so aXXo is the codeword for “digital shit” (just like seeing “TUS release”… ARGH!), and
2) BT is mostly full of noobs who cry about their movies being too big. Fuck those noobs.
