30 Days S03E03 DSR XviD-XOXO

Group XOXO is back again this week with the 3rd ep of the 3rd season of 30 Days. Since apparently they don’t have a HD broadcast source of the FX Network, we are stuck with a DSR release from them until the DVD comes out. For ep2, which was about living in a wheelchair – check the comments section, I posted RS links for a (probable p2p) rip that I found for y’all. ;)

Anyways, in tonight’s ep: George Snedeker is an avid hunter who considers it much more than just a sport; to George, hunting is a way of life. George hunts mainly for deer meat and tries to use the entire animal in order not to be wasteful.

For 30 Days, George will live in Los Angeles with vegan Melissa Karpel, 29, and her vegan family: parents Don and Madeline Karpel and her sisters Stephanie and Kimberly, who are 25-year-old twins. Melissa is a Los Angeles Campaign Coordinator for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), a non-profit organization that fights for animal rights on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade and in the entertainment industry.

George will participate in PETA initiatives including a demonstration at a popular fast food chain, work at a local farm animal rescue center and meet with various organizations such as Last Chance for Animals, a non-profit group dedicated to animal rights.

    I absolutely abhor PETA members. They take “extremism” to the max.. and mind you.. I’M an “animal lover”.. never hunted.. an old “hippy”.. AND an environmentalist.

    PETA people are just plain kooks. I’d love to just line them all up..

    My ex-wife and I knew some of these people once (a couple) in Seattle. They had 6 dogs and cats and the wife actually cooked “vegan” dog & cat food herself to feed to her pets.

    ..sheesh..

    I love most of the animals, but with the exception of few.

    PETA started out with good intentions and people but was then taken over by the wacko’s.
    The original idea when they were talking about the way animals were being experimented on (strapped in cages, skulls open and awake while being probed/perfume-makeup toxicity-even after years of levels being known- etc.)was good and needed to be shown.

    I can even go along with the way they are against the disgusting ways that hens are being caged for the eggs

    Vegan? Veggie eaters-no meat? PUH-LEAZE! There are NO such critters in existence! Everyone eats meat even if they dont know it.

    Your body flakes off dead skin cells by the billions each day. And when you sleep you breath in these dead skin cells that either go into your lungs and are reabsorbed, or they fly into your mouth if you snore or sleep with your mouth partially open as quite a lot of humans do. Wehn they fly into your mouth you ingest them and they go into your stomach so you are quite literally eating yourself each night.

    So no matter how hard these Vegans or Veggie eaters try to convince themselves that they dont eat meat, it is physically and medically impossible for them to do so unless they shove a tube down their throat and plug their noses each and every night. And even then it is impossible as your lips flake cells as well and if you chew on your lips or lick them….same thing.

    They can lie to themselves all they want, but the AMA and JAMA calls them a liar.

    Just for the record… that picture is of the Navajo family that Morgan lived with for 30 days in the final episode (S03E06)…

    also, VEGAN does not necessarily = SKINNY,HEALTHY…
