What’s better? This or the Telecine that was posted earlier before? Is AC3 sound and a sharper picture worth watching in 4:3 or will you fight to the death for widescreen goodness?

Yes,it stretches out the full screen image to fit the 16:9 screen. You lose resolution. At least on mine it does.

For those of you who haven’t watched it, I’d say stick to the TC because it was really good. This one may have a better pic and audio, but the property messages, and any black and white scenes are gonna ruin the experience. Movie was better than I expected.
DAMN IT ! – that pic almost gave me a heart attack ! I was listening to music minding my own damn biznez and maximized the browser , saw the pic almost fainted.

Do you realize the mininova link you pasted contains many .rar files (quite normal) which once uncompressed results in a freakin’ .zix file (two actually – 1 per CD)?
I’m not installing that POS WinZix, even if it means I’ve wasted my 1.3Gb of bandwidth. Can anyone verify which link will result in me NOT getting the nasty .zix’s?

Oh… and before anyone recommends renaming the file to .avi, that doesn’t work. Neither does UnZixWin v0.0.9 (latest version) which is a nifty free and safe program to get round using WinZix… except it doesn’t work for these files. Bottom line – if you download the link @16, you just downloaded 1.3Gb of trash, or you have to opt for some trojan!

To be honest, I played this in VLC and found that it actually has a bit BETTER quality than most releases that I’ve seen, and I am always looking for new quality torrents… Still, I love widescreen the most, but I’m getting this in case I can’t get a widescreen copy soon before I go home for the holidays and watch movies with my pals!

The sound in the movie is terrible, though I know it clearly says FS DVDSCR…
Overall this movie is a must watch for suspense and gore lovers…I wish they would have atleast showed how these vampires came into this earth…Horror directors should learn how to do a proper introduction..Ending of Josh with special effect was cooool…

been waiting some weeks now.
I dont know what the fuss is all about, I watched it last night on my tv from my linux pc on Xine.
Picture was perfectly clear, the watermark wasn’t too bad, it was free. The audio sounded crystal clear on my 5.1 system, the highs and lows were easy to understand, very good rip!
For everyone who doesn’t like the FS: there doesn’t seem to be much information missing in the video sample. Maybe they used an open matte for this transfer? And the audio sounds great!
this file contains a trojan. it’s the zix thingie, simply google for that stuff… this was the 1st fake i evar dl’ed from rlslog…..

Those who have commented that they’ve downloaded and viewed, I’d recommend check their virus protection. The .zix issue is serious. I agree with @90, first time I’ve seen a bad link here at RLSLog… that’s why I’m hear, because I trust you guys to know better! tsk.
