30 Days Of Night CAM XViD-HooKah

A slightly delayed cam of 30 Days of Night is finally here, released by HooKah. It’s even more weird because mVs already released a telesync of this highly anticipated movie. Anyway, these guys claim there were over 21 minutes of footage missing in mVs’ release, and that’s quite a serious reason. The quality still sucks though, with a very dark picture and washed out colours.

Producer Sam Raimi (”Spider-Man”) brings audiences the terrifying thriller “30 Days of Night,” set in the isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, in the extreme northern hemisphere, which is plunged into complete darkness annually for an entire month. When most of the inhabitants head south for the winter, a mysterious group of strangers appear: bloodthirsty vampires, ready to take advantage of the uninterrupted darkness to feed on the town’s residents. As the night wears on, Barrow’s Sheriff Eben (Josh Hartnett), his estranged wife Stella (Melissa George), and an ever-shrinking group of survivors must do anything they can to last until daylight.

This is one of those movies that’s pointless to release on anything less than TC/R5 quality.

Quote:’“30 Days of NIGHT,” set in the isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, in the extreme northern hemisphere, which is plunged into COMPLETE DARKNESS annually for an entire month.’

In other words 95% of the film is in darkness or near dark, while cams and TS’s are brutal when it comes to dark scenes.

    Waste of bandwith IMO. :(

If you really want to see this movie, view with a player that lets you adust the brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness. Personally I am using Zoom player 5.5 free version. With the brightness set up and a tweak to the contrast this is very watchable on PC. If you set the saturation almost to max you can get pretty good color.

We all know this is a basic cam type version, so if you DL do not expect the highest quality. However, if you want to see this movie, this is a copy that you can watch.

    Picture: 6.5
Audio: 7.5 sometimes you need to bump the volume but it is in sync.

Overall, not bad… for what it is!
