I Am Legend - Action - Trailer, IMDB, Website, Wikipedia
Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable…and manmade. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City…and maybe the world. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by “the Infected” victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path.
For three years, Neville has spent his days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. All the while, the Infected lurk in the shadows, watching Neville’s every move, waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But his blood is also what The Infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and quickly running out of time.
You Kill Me - Comedy - Trailer, IMDB, Website, Wikipedia
Frank Falenczyk (Ben Kingsley) loves his job. He just happens to be the hit-man for his Polish mob family in Buffalo, New York. But Frank’s got a drinking problem and when he messes up a critical assignment that puts the family business in peril, his uncle (Philip Baker Hall) sends him to San Francisco to clean up his act.
Frank is not a touchy-feely kind of guy, but he starts going to AA meetings, gets a sponsor (Luke Wilson) and a job at a mortuary where he falls for the tart-tongued Laurel (Téa Leoni), a woman who is dangerously devoid of boundaries. Meanwhile, things aren’t going well in Buffalo where an upstart Irish gang is threatening the family business. When violence erupts, Frank is forced to return home and with an unlikely assist from Laurel, faces old rivals on new terms.
Hot Rod - Comedy - Trailer, IMDB, Website, Wikipedia
Amateur stuntman Rod Kimble (ANDY SAMBERG) has a problem – his step-father Frank (IAN MCSHANE) is a jerk. Frank picks on Rod, tosses him around like a rag doll in their weekly sparring sessions, and definitely doesn’t respect him, much less his stunts. But when Frank falls ill, it’s up to Rod to stage the jump of his life in order to save his step-father. The plan: Jump 15 buses, raise the money for Frank’s heart operation, and then…kick his ass.

I Am Legend = Omega Man
somebody has to say it….I am legend = 24 days later
I assume you mean 28 days later and I am legend is from a book in the 50’s.
It’s a pretty good book i guess i will check out this new film but looks like it’s undergone a fair few changes.
I am legend FTMFW !
The one called You Kill me looks pretty decent.
Mike thanks for the head up on these movies. First two look great but the last one… well let’s just say I don’t have any father issues that I’ll have to kick his ass by having someone do it on screen for me.
Drew
Why do all zombie movies involve viruses.. why not an alien death ray turning everyone into zombies (except Will Smith who was hiding in the closet) or how about the world is normally full of zombies until one of them eats radioactive waste and turns into a human and starts infecting other zombies with ‘Human Juice’.
I was over zombie movies in the 80’s due to the very repetitive themes..
I Am Legend! OMGYES!
And, for the record, they aren’t/weren’t zombies, they’re vampires. Hehe.
If you guys are talking about the Omega Man with Charleston Heston, then yes I am sure it’s been redone as a vehicle for Will Smith and someone is going to make a boat load of money on it.
Screened you kill me a few weeks back and it’s definitely worth seeing as long as you aren’t expecting a rambo exploder flick or something. I liked it a lot.
I honestly cannot wait until the “I Am Legend” Movie to come out
it seriously looks sweet, the way he has a fighter jet to get around (you see it in the trailer he hits a golf ball off it I think
