    “here for your convienice.”

    you mean, you’re reporting the news for our convenience, or is rlslog a warez site? :)

    February 7th, 2008 | 12:31

    I really thank you for this audio apps :)

    February 7th, 2008 | 12:33

    @19

    they’re sparing us just some time of search wich is great, they’re not releasing stuff :)

  21. hdfghdf
    February 7th, 2008 | 12:39

    lol, yeah well done Bob…
    I know rlslog don’t rls stuff, I mean that’s laughable.

    But actually, Lee uploaded these. So rlslog becomes less of a news site, more like a common warez site. Personally I odn’t see the point of that.

  22. Lee staff member
    February 7th, 2008 | 12:55

    I upload stuff to help people find these appz, which are usually hard to find. I tihnk you’ll find I don’t upload big appz, nor hugely popular ones as they are easy to find via google.

    February 7th, 2008 | 13:11

    I know. But rlslog is making it available to download, rather than simply reporting on releases and providing already-public links. Doesn’t it change the nature of the site?

  24. hdfghdf
    February 7th, 2008 | 13:21

    You could link to sites like magesy for music apps, and vanix for general stuff, they’re both well-respected, long-running sites. Both are well-operated and don’t have much downtime. It seems to me a better way of retaining rlslog’s uniqueness and still providing users the ability to access the things that are being reported.

    Hang on, doesn’t Martin own Leecher’s Lair or something?
    Why not just upload and post there, then link from here?

  26. 5.1 audio
    February 7th, 2008 | 17:27

    Can anybody recommend an easily available app that will time stretch / compress 5.1 ac3 audio for converting between NTSC and PAL. Belight etc only works on 2 channel stereo unless you split all the channels and do it separately.
    Thanks

  27. Spook
    February 7th, 2008 | 18:19

    @27
    Why not convert it to a 5.1 wave or 6 mono waves and then time stretch/compress them in Sony Soundforge or Vegas.
    Its possible Soundforge or Vegas will let you nativly work on the AC3 file, I’ve not needed to do that yet.
    If working with 6 mono waves just use the batch conversion tool to do all the hard work.

    @27 Spook. Thanks, I have Soundforge somewhere, will put it on my new rig and check it out. Now I have 5.1 setup i want to get it right.

    February 8th, 2008 | 13:06

    @33 5.1 audio

    If you have trouble opening a large 5.1 wave file make sure you have version Soundforge 9.0d or later as they’ve corrected a bug that allows you to open large wave files.

    I’m currently downloading version 9.0e that’s just been relased.

    You can get the latest versions from here:
