Tupac Shakur, one of the most respected and appreciated rappers the world has ever seen. Here is a 2 CD release from group 404 that should be interesting to people who are new to Hip-Hop and haven’t heard a lot of 2Pac. This is a compilation obviously so if you already have all his albums I doubt you will find this interesting.
Edit: I just listened to Thugz Mansion again and thought… This is what Hip-Hop is about man !! R.I.P. Tupac.
Part 1: Thug
Best of 2Pac Part 1: Thug is an upcoming greatest hits compilation from rapper Tupac Shakur. Thug is part one of the two part series with part two titled Life. Both albums will be released on December 4, 2007, and each will contain an unreleased track and a new remix. The tracks on the album will coincide the title, and are the highlight songs of the rapper’s career. The album has been leaked on the Internet on November 30, 2007, 4 days before the release.
Tupac Amaru Shakur (born June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac, Makaveli, or simply Pac, was an American artist renowned for his rapping and hip hop music, as well as his movie roles, poetry, and his social activism. Am I the only 2pac fan who thinks that was one of his best songs? WTF? All these 2pac/Makaveli compilation and remixes since Pac died but there is only one i know of that has “no more pain”.
Yeah it was sad listening to his mom’s plea to stop releasing this stuff. I got all his recordings prior to death and up until the first year after his death. That was enough. If any of you pac fans want to expand on your collection pick up some of his poems and such. He was a very talented writer. Just not all that thug till you die stuff either. Very talented man.

I have listened 2pac for around 10 years or so now. I find it hilarious how much titles still pop out every year, but well, he left tons of songs unreleased which has been remade and some published “original” under name of makaveli (/or 2pac).
Everywhere I also look, youtube, rlslog; doesnt make difference, there’s lot of commenting, “racistical” or then this typical “2pac lives ololol”. Lets just put it this way: there’s enough proof in “picture form” of 2pac that he isnt amongst us anymore, but the soul and the legend never dies, that I do believe myself
I wish people will be more awaresighted overall to the artists. If you dont like something, it doesnt mean all world needs to know how you feel “of it”. Get a dog or smth to talk to :p

This is both a pain in the arse seeing the same music either being remixed or just released again and again. The man had VOLUMES of material unreleased which sits in a vault. His former business associate murdered him because he didn’t want to pay the millions he owed him so instead we see endless releases of material that is legally allowed to be released. Like him or not, 2pac/Tupac was a greatly influential black man who could have done more for the black community and the rap genre than perhaps any current celeb. Just a case of money being the root of all evil.

I think the track “Dopefiend’s Diner” on Part 2: Life is another great song he was not fortunate enough to put together himself. I got chills listening to a new but old song of such quality.

I just wanted to point out something to the people that are saying that PAC is glorifying carrying a gun and being “ignorant”. Basically you’re right, but you can’t help but overlook the fact that he was simply reacting to all the negativity around him. Also, he was young. At the age of 18-25 what are most middle class American College students doing? Frat parties, smoking pot, getting drunk, etc..
Also, I believe he was way ahead of him time. People like to clamp themselves up in a little box and pretend nothing wrong is happening in this world. And if they see something wrong they will ignore it, or blame it on someone else. 2pac used his lyrics and influence on the world to “wake us up”.
