28 Weeks Later 2007 DVDRip XviD-LPD

Here’s another amazing dvdrip, which shouldn’t be missing in any collection: 28 Weeks Later. Released by LPD on 1 CD, this dvdrip offers a standard quality. But it’s the movie itself which will attract huge crowds of downloaders – it’s simply great. A thrilling story mixed with few scary horror-like scenes works just fine and it’s no secret there’s already planned sequel for the whole serie. The release doesn’t contain subtitles, but there’s a subpack which was released little later and which contains subs in 10 different languages.

The devastating rage virus that annihilated the British Isles mysteriously resurfaces in Goya Award-winning director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s sequel to the Danny Boyle-directed horror hit that terrified audiences worldwide by offering a breathless new take on the familiar zombie mythos. Six months has passed since the rage virus caused British residents to indiscriminately murder and destroy everything in their paths, and now the U.S. military has declared victory in the war against the rapidly spreading infection. As the reconstruction process gets underway and the first wave of refugees return to British shores, a family separated by the devastation is happily reunited. During the initial outbreak, Don Harris (Robert Carlyle) and his wife Alice (Catherine McCormack) sat holed up with a small band of survivors in a remote farmhouse.

Their kids well out of harm’s way at a remote boarding school, Don and Alice’s outlook for the future is decidedly bright until all hell breaks loose in the country and Don just barely manages to escape the clutches of the infected. The joy of later seeing his son Andy (Mackintosh Muggleton) and daughter Tammy (Imogen Poots) as repopulation efforts get underway in London is short-lived, however, when an innocent bid to reconnect with the past sets into motion a tragic series of events. Now, just as society struggles to sort through the rubble and rebuild London from the ground up, the virus that nearly destroyed a nation strikes back with a vengeance. Jeremy Renner, Rose Byrne, and Harold Perrineau, Jr. co-star in the frightful sequel, which highlights the dangers of declaring victory in the calm before the storm.

Samuel Sung: First DiAMOND only rls big hollywood movies, which there havnt been any out on DVD since like TMNT. DiAMOND might be big, but they aint the best in quality and they dont have suppliers all over the world.
I guess according to the subs on this rls that its from England or possible east-european. But I guess England, tho it got a dvd-date there on 10th september. And I just guess DMD doesnt have any suppliers in England. Who knows?
And aXXo sucks.. He is just doing re-encodes of movies already rlsed. When aXXo rlses some big movie before the scene, then I might say he is okay.

I thought it was crap. Even my 3 year old daughter can hold the camera steadier and knows better how to edit a movie.

besides that, there will be no unrated movie. the time difference is caused by pal-speedup. due different tv-standards the european dvds run 4% faster.

I really think they messed this movie up giving it the hollywood treatment, and putting some big names in, the first one was far better, should have stuck with Danny Boyle as the director, in fact i think they should have stuck at one film!!!

I thught axxo released good stuff, everyone is always bashing all the releases :/. So is axxo worth it or what, or are you just jealous cause you dont know how to do it?
I read that this movie sucks anyways. I saw the first one and wasnt impressed.

  22. August 24th, 2007 | 13:27

i liked this sequel movie, nice horror

  23. August 24th, 2007 | 13:33

@21 Axxo releases good Quality Conversions of movies when they hit retail release, hence months later after the movie comes out in the cinema, and months behind any possible R5 or DVD screener that may be out at that time.
As for “Jealous” Anyone can drag and drop a file in Nero Vision and let that automatically create a DVD Rip of any DVD, so he aint really doing much work anyway.

  24. a
    August 24th, 2007 | 13:35

eh, axxo aren’t even scene, so why are scene heads always bashing them… axxo wouldn’t exist without scene rlses but they still have more brand power than anyone in the scene, unless of cause you limit your crowd ppl who jerk off to their scene points, axxo take nothing away from the scene, they only bring in novices and add to the broader community… should axxo give more credit to the scene groups and their releases? no, scene groups got their heads too far up their ass to care anyways, if they really wanted non-scene props, they wouldn’t be scene in the first place…

comment on the movie? i ain’t gonna d/l this cos i already seen it, so you’ll have to ask someone else about the release, but the movie is well worth watching, just as good as the first, especially with the unpredictability with main characters who drop off halfway through…

  25. August 24th, 2007 | 13:36

Oh and 879 KB/s Bitrate on this!!!! not the best quality when it comes to video when you consider the Bourne Ultimatum Screener was 937 KB/s Video Bitrate.
Though it does come along with 10 different Language Subtitles, still would of expected a higher Video Bitrate for a DVD Rip

  26. August 24th, 2007 | 13:40

@24 “axxo wouldn’t exist without scene rlses”

LOL Axxo does not use Scene releases, he releases Conversions of DVD’s when they go retail or rental.

So what you mean is Axxo would not exsist if it were not for Retail DVD’s

  27. a
    August 24th, 2007 | 13:42

@mixtrixx not all axxo releases are store bought retail rips, most as just a straight recopy of scene releases, occasionally they’ll reencode for size, etc. most of the time the release is good enough to drop with no work… as far as just putting the file in nero, well yes anyone can do that, but there isn’t a group, scene or not, who has the reputation on the net for newbie’s to download with confidence… not everyone reads and knows about rlslog, and there’s a hell of alot of fake releases out there…

  28. a
    August 24th, 2007 | 13:46

goto superfundo.org and compare the axxo releases to scene ones… they more than often copy scene releases

  29. spyro
    August 24th, 2007 | 13:46

In terms of picture quality is it worth downloading this, if i already had the previous R5 release ? The difference isn’t that noticeable is it ?

…..and for waht its worth Danny Boyle did some 2nd Unit Directing on this film.

  32. August 24th, 2007 | 13:53

  33. Nuggler
    August 24th, 2007 | 13:53

Imo, this movie is awesome, if you haven’t seen it yet, you should asap :P

  34. August 24th, 2007 | 13:56

The thing is Live Free Or Die has Been Out on DVD for over a year.

  35. a
    August 24th, 2007 | 14:00

@34 exactly, but axxo didn’t release it till just after the SAFiRE release came out… axxo wouldn’t goto the trouble of buying all the dvd’s, when they can just get the rips from scene releases, they aren’t about following scene rules, they could careless about stealing other groups work, thats why they aren’t scene… if there’s a new dvdrip release out and its popular, they release it themselves, with the axxo branding…

  36. August 24th, 2007 | 14:07

Oh yeah. But My point is people are praising Axxo too much for just stealing other groups sources, then has a following of fans who slag off the original groups release and say “I’ll Wait for the Axxo” which just happens to be a stolen conversion of the same source.

  37. August 24th, 2007 | 14:10

This piece of shit ruined the first one for ever, the pilot was flying in a piece of shit Gazelle for fucks sake and a car can get away from an Apache. Those are just 2 of the least fucked up shit the director fucked.

  38. Mithi
    August 24th, 2007 | 14:14

Absolutely horrible sequel. Shaky cam^10, gaping plot holes and inconsistensies wherever the plot isn’t simply stúpid, and an awful ending. Combine the shaky cam with excessive cuts and a bunch of random pointless camera tricks to create a constant feeling of not-knowing-what-the-fuck-is-happening-onscreen. The few positives include and are probably limited to the strong opening scene, a few nice special effects, and a strong soundtrack (though it’s mainly wasted outside of the opening scene).
In terms of originality and style (and thus, in my opinion, enjoyability) this movie has nothing on the 1st.
Let’s hope Boyle will be able to turn things back around with the 3rd movie.

I mean, fuck is it really so hard to click and choose ac3 5.1 sound over mp3? Don’t tell me that it woul’d not fit on to 700MB… Who cares? Get it on 2cds then!!! Not too bad a for a sequel. Not great. Obviously the first one was better. I liked how they deserted London for the first and second movie. Must have been a bitch to organize that. I have to comment this axxo thing…Axxo makes releases of which everyone will know what the quality is like by the axxo name…unfortunately this isn’t true for any scene, they have widespread qualitys. I personally would enjoy both of them…I like 5.1 in most movies so axxo isn’t that good for me, also early releases rarely contain 5.1 so they are not a main thing for me either..still I think axxo and many scene groups are very good.

  58. August 24th, 2007 | 19:53

@Peter To be honest this Movie is OK(ish) considering it’s a Sequel and British Made. I dont think this is anywhere near as good as Live Free or Die Hard. The only Sequel that can really be compared to Live Free or Die Hard is The Bourne Ultimatum.

if we count every snatch from a popular scene movie from all the private trackers in the world and we count the snatches of a junk axxo reencode the scene woud have a huge percentage

Re: axxo…. i ain’t giving axxo praise, nor am i saying “fuck axxo, scene rules..”…. yes axxo only re-release scene releases with their name on it, yes they are against the basic fundamental scene rules, but at the same time, they don’t claim to be part of the scene, so why the fuck do wannabe scene heads care so much about what they are doing?? scene groups and real scene fans could care less what axxo is up to… its only a lame ‘conspiracy’ to people who don’t know shit about the scene… if your saying “..i’m gonna wait for the axxo release..” you really don’t know shit about the scene… but if your saying “..fuck axxo, they’re just stealing ’s credit..” you also really don’t know shit about the scene… scene groups only care about whats happening in the scene and the credit they get within the scene, they could care less whats happening outside the scene, and axxo couldn’t be further out of the scene… the scene and their true fans are just bunch of secluded fucks, they have their heads so far up their ass they can’t see past the scene… axxo’s biggest crime isn’t stealing scene releases, it’s is getting so popular and drawing so much attention to the scene that they now have groupie ass scene fans, who ultimately turn around and say “..fuck axxo..”…. the moral of the story is, the scene won’t think your cool if you go around talking shit about axxo, you don’t get scene cred for hating on a non-scene group, the scene cares about the scene, except every scene group only hates other scene groups… its like fighting with your neighboring local football team, when your state team gets shit canned every week… i’m done

of yeah i also like this film, but yeah people are right, the opening scenes are a lot stronger than the rest of the film (way better than the first’s opening scene), but you can say that about the first film, and half the other films ever released in the history of cinema… oh also, the person who said die hard was better than this flick?? i hope your talking about the first die hard, cos live free 4.0 sucks compared to this, noone wanted to see john mclane step in to save ‘hackers 2′… even the general dumbass audience stopped believing in ‘computers taking over the world’ movie plots after Y2k, live free would have had balls back in ‘99, if they wanted another tired storyline why didn’t hollywood rehash another terrorist flick… if you liked live free or die hard, you’d love ‘Die Hard:ID4′ with bruce showing up to kick some alien ass… 28 week later is soo much better, cept it was missing a decent 12 monkeys reference…

ok why does everyone want a 2 cd release… its called a dvd burner go and buy one for 70 bucks you tight arses… you might lose a little bit of quality if you use a standard 4.5 gig disc then again you could always buy a dual layer one.

@68, if axxo were scene they would probably give them negative scene points, but axxo aren’t scene… the scene could give a fuck about them… like i said, only scene groupies talk shit about axxo on behalf of the scene, in the hope they can gain some scene cred from the scene… but the scene only care about the scene and the scene only give credit to groups who release within scene rules… the last thing they care about is scene groupies who get caught up in non-scene related battles…

this is an ok movie, but like the others have said, there are quite a few times where it is weak.

and why cant a DVD rip be on 2 CDs, not like we short of hard drive space, we want quality encodes from DVD, not shitty axxo type encodes on 1 CD. im not a scener or a scene fan, but i respect the effort they put it. im also not an idiot so i realise where most torrents come from originally. when you realise that, you realise what a phony axxo is. i dont think he will last.

http://www.mininova.org/com/855102 they’ve finally started deleting all that 1st,2nd sh it at mininova. lol@ the morans riding axxo’s dick over there.

  75. August 25th, 2007 | 13:31

i really dont know why they let people upload axxo releases on new torrents. phishy said once it was coz people asked for it, but i say: what the f uck do those people know.

  76. Mc
    August 25th, 2007 | 20:34

    @66: I really couldn’t care less if it’s 1, 2 or 3 cd’s. All I want is a decent quality and 5.1 sound instead of stereo mp3 sound hence the 2 cd’s.

Concerning axxo: the problem I have with his/their releases is that all the newbies go and download them instead of the scene releases. This way a good scene release might be without seeders after a couple of weeks while all the idiots are still seeding axxo’s ‘releases’.

I do however find it funny that a lot of people are complaining about axxo stealing other releases. Where do you think those releases come from in the first place? Legal sources? ;)

@74, “i dont think he will last”, as long as the scene is around, axxo will be around… axxo would never last in the scene, but axxo aren’t scene, thats the whole point… and as far as axxo taking away all these valuable ‘newbie seeders’ (whom are more like leechers) away from the ‘legit’ scene releases is horseshit… the scene ain’t a popularity contest, having more snatches don’t give them any more credibility, the scene doesn’t start and end on bittorrents, it’s a release, once it’s out there it’s out, axxo is just a torrent brand name, they don’t release anything on the scene…
