24 Season 6 leaked !

A very good news appeared this morning for all fans of popular TV show 24. Already sixth season of Jack Bauer’s 24 hours is scheduled to launch soon, but you can get first 4 episodes of it with 10 days in advance. I personally don’t watch 24, I saw some of the first episodes and didn’t like it as much as Prison Break or LOST, but some of our readers obviously love it. We’ve received this mail:

I have been a fan of this site since the beginning. Excellent site I must say. I just wanted to let you know there is a great new release that you guys missed. I am not sure if you have been able to watch any of the seasons of 24 with Kiefer Sutherland where you are at but here in the states it is a hit. 10 days before being aired the first 4 episodes of season 6 are on the net. Having just watched them last night all I can say is Jack is back. Besides the dvd there are episode rips out there. From the Fear DVD nfo:

24.SEASON.6.PREMIERE.DVDR-FEAR
Region 1
NTSC
Retail Date: January 16th 2007
Rip Date: January 6th 2007
User Rating: 9.2/10 (2,765 votes)
Duration: 176 Minutes
CCE 5 PASS
Average bitrate 3,815 Kbs

At the end of Season 5, Jack Bauer was kidnapped, beaten, and taken captive in retribution for his involvement in a raid on the Chinese Consulate eighteen months earlier. Now, there’s a new president, Jack Bauer is missing, and the U.S. is under siege from terrorist attacks more threatening than anything we’ve ever encountered! There is only one thing that can save the nation – Jack Bauer must die.

The good news is that there are also nice XviD rips of this, so you don’t have to download a full DVD if you’re on limited bandwith and quality will be pretty good as well. All four leaked episodes already uploaded to NewTorrents and available there. Have fun!

Amazing it leaked, or maybe not, when they tried to sell DVD by Jan 16th … anyway, I like ‘24′ for sake of entertainment – torrenting since 30 mins. Make me wonder if ‘24′ or any TV series tries that again in the future to release DVD so close of first airing. Bummer.

PS: thanks rlslog.net, know you only since 2-3 weeks, makes me spend less time to glance over mininova but rather check here – now we only need some decent TV torrent news category ;-)

I hate 24. I just find it hard to believe they can charter a plane, get in it, fly across half the USA, kill the terrorists and make out faggily, all in a space of 1 hour.
Everyone knows it would take at least four hours just to get through the stupid baggage check. and that is without the cavity searches. Jeez!

I never watch any series, not 24, not Lost (except for a few episodes), not even PrisonBreak. But its kinda cool to find out stuff like this can leak out like this.

  9. January 7th, 2007 | 19:40

and when I am seeing 24 on mininova, i thought it can’t be true. I check on tv.com and it say 14th or something. Then I come here, and when I see it on releaselog.net, I know its true. I can trust releaselog (excuse broken eenglish eh? I just watch Blood Diamond and Leonardo is simply amazing eh?)

You guys who don’t watch any series (or just a few) don’t know what you miss. There are *so* many great series out there, old and news ones. If I had to choose between series and movies, I absolutely would choose the the first. I recommend to give them a chance.

The show is OK except for the black guy. He is so annoying. There never could be black as American president, would be like a turk Bundeskanzler, so I stop watching the show. I will start again with these show, so thanks!

Well, it would’ve been a thousand times better, if they’d release the first four episodes of the second half of Lost.

    Jack Bauer must die!

    Friendly greetings!

What are you on, President Palmer has been one of the best actors in the entire 24 series! His role as president was second to none, if you think a *black* couldn’t be president your living in the dark ages. Oh n to make matters worse his son is president in the next series, oooppps another black man, what shall we ever do!! Downloading at the mo, can’t wait to watch it

what you are on! :) black would run USA into the dirt…for reals home boy, they shit beez reeeel! i like the show, but he is right…was exchange stud in USA, and almost every white didn’t like blacks, and almost all blacks was, lets say, not presidential caliber. ;) Good show, but is fantasy, “hollywood” jewish lefts makes it, so puts in fantasy he like. the black is also the most boring character to me.

While its clear the african american community has some real problems with education, crime, and poverty that seem to continually plague that community for whatever reason, not every black man is of the ‘nigger’ stereotype, and the President Palmer character is clearly one of these ‘exceptions’ to the stereotype.

Anyone who can’t find respect for that character is purely racist — and this coming from a person who truly finds the ‘nigger’ culture disgusting (as I’m sure president palmer would, btw).

Sometimes certain facts about ethnic groups can be generalized and you can base your opinion on the majority of that group from those generalizations, but there are are always exceptions to generalizations.

As for 24, I just watched seasons 1 and 2 almost back to back (yes, it was a huge allocation of time), and I have gained a true appreciation for this show. Its produced very, very well and has an excellent plot. At times they do speed things up a bit, but if you pay attention they keep things geocraphically local enough to make the timeline feasible. The writing is much better than other shows, like Prison Break. I lost interst in Prison Break when I saw that homosexual pedophile convict escape with the real bag of money. I mean, how dumb can they be? That was a shim to keep the show going. Also, other decisions in the writing were made simply to keep things going, ignoring what would and should logically happen.

In 24, there are some exceptions to the flow that I don’t like, for instance in Season 2 Kim Bauer’s surprising ability to get into such a situation the same day the nuclear threat to LA. I quickly overlooked it with the excellent writing and production though.

And, btw, to those who like ‘Lost’. I did like it for a while, but the plot is far too slow and they never produce any good answers to anything. At some point a person needs some damn closure to unanswered questions. I think all viewers of LOST should feel this way by now. I am not interested in watching something that never has any conclusion.

At least 24 concludes every season like it should, leaving open a story for the next season, but wrapping up all loose ends.

24 has gotten increasingly dumber and more ridiculous each season. I personally can’t stand the show.

If you want an engrossing and intelligent tv series, watch The Wire on HBO.
