    Show is difficult to write for – ratings have been down S06 and S07, and S08 so far is headed for a ratings DISASTER and go as probably one of the worst seasons. So yes it is the final season – Kiefer’s contract ends with season 8 – they can’t afford to continue a 3rd year with poor ratings….it would be unrealistic to make a movie with such ratings.

    So consider the final season unless a MIRACLE in ratings happen. Either way they have until may to decide and announe it officially, but odds are not good for 24.
