21 Up America PDTV XviD-WPi
Today has been a busy day for movie releases, and so here I am with some more TV posts. WPi brings yet another quality release from the great Australian TV station SBS. More about the show can be read here. 21 up explores a number of themes, such as the impact parents have on a child, what’s important in a relationship and the need to contribute to the world.

The latest in the 7 Up series from the USA, it was released there in 2006. It follows the lives of 14 Americans whom audiences first met when they were seven, then 14 and now 21 years old. The subjects come from a range of backgrounds and circumstances, from rich kids in Manhattan to an immigrant from El Salvador to poor kids from ‘the projects’ in Chicago. Written and directed by Christopher Quinn, the documentary cuts between earlier episodes so viewers can see the young adults as they were in childhood, with all their dreams, ideas and intentions for their life ahead.

don’t know what this show is really about. anybody care to review??
worth the download?
i didn’t even know this existed! i’m a HUGE fan of the original ‘7 Up!’ from the UK that started in the 60s. Now I need to find ‘7 Up USA’ and ‘14 UP USA’. Any leads?
ha! i always thought the original up series was from the USA.
don’t know why…
i would luv to get my hands on this series (–up america) also.
i have heard that there are others like the UK and American ones.
for others like this:

This is a US version of a longrunning UK series, from Michael Apted who started with a group of children at age 7 and has reinterviewed them every 7 years since. Latest UK version is 49 Up so the youngest is now in their mid 50’s. He has lost a few, many have dropped out and others have died, but it is fascinating to flashback to their earlier comments in the context of ‘age 35″, ‘age 49′. Sad thing is how disillusioned most of them are – they were so positive as children and teenagers, now many are depressives, hobos, alcos.
if so where is the torrent then?
How come lately there are many posts without valid torrents? Is this site turning into some kind of puzzel hide and seek thingy?
It just sucks if there is and will never be a torrent!!
@cdntcareless:
if you live in a disillusioning world disillusioned is what you become. sad but not actually surprising?
the BS ‘magic’ of childhood that is forced upon you by most parents and the media has to vanish somewhen, right?
any nontorrent links…rapidshare or megaupload? thanks
