2012 Science Or Superstition 2008 DOCU DVDRiP XViD-DOCUMENT

Here we have a pretty Interesting movie about the year 2012. If you ask me, i think its all a load of bull crap. DOCUMENT releases a nice 1cd rip of the movie. Read along for more information.

December 21, 2012: the end date of the sophisticated Long Count Calendar created by the ancient Maya in central America. Countless books and websites, magazine articles and newspaper headlines debate its meaning, with enthusiasts in two camps: those forecasting apocalypse the end of time and those who see a coming renewal, a rebirth of consciousness. Adding fuel to the debate, some scientists see the increasing number of natural disasters in recent years as evidence of a catastrophic climax of events in 2012. How much of what we re hearing is science and how much is superstition? In this film the leading researchers, writers and scientists in the field tell us exactly what this date means to them, why it s important, and what we should expect. Featured in the film are Graham Hancock, John Major Jenkins, Daniel Pinchbeck, Alberto Villoldo, Anthony Aveni, Robert Bauval, Jim Marrs, Walter Cruttenden, Lawrence E. Joseph, Douglas Rushkoff, John Anthony West and Benito Vegas Duran.

ofcourse you're intitled to your opinion saying you think it's all bull crap but some of the subjects in these time of docummentaries are worth keeping an open mind about if the world was full of closed minded people and views we would'nt be where we are now the problem with the human race is that we think we know it all something might happen that nobody expects on 2012 but i dont think the world will end but if we keep going the way we are with pollution then we'll be in a whole lot of trouble in the next 25-50 years!

all have to reach an end… maybe not in 2012 but for sure all this world will go to hell at any moment with a war, a plague, pollution or a meteorite… all that begin have to end! is like that in all the things of the universe.

and how many times have we seen end of the world stuff ? and how many actually happened
and 1 question if it were true then why would the world not rush to get to mars or make a settlement on the moon. hell US rushed to get people on the moon first but now that the whole world is gonna end we do nothing.
    makes no sense to me.
we have a better chance for aliens to come here and rape us ( like gfsdfgfdsgdsfgs said) or the dead taking over the world then the earth ending on 2012

Ok get you'r facts right. First of all the gregorian calendar (our understanding of time) is based on julian calendar, which is addapted from the mayan calendar. So the question here is why would the count of days just stop? why would the mayans who gave or basic understanding in mathematics would just predict a day out of nothing?

The 2012 thing is simply the last year the Mayans included in their calendar.

Go to the store and see all the 2009 calendars.
There are none on sale for 2011.
This either means everyone other than the Mayans is predicting the world will end in 2010 or it doesn't.

Vital1 is right on the money. Live in the dark and believe that this is related to Y2K if that makes you feel stronger, but this is like scripture. These things were written well before modern times, and the Mayan people were a very advanced people. Far more advanced than any society now.

Do a little research and educate yourself before drawing any conclusions. Don't spout garbage, especially if you are the one creating the original post, unless you are prepared to continue the discussion. Hit and run is childish, as is censorship.

"One for the tin foil hatters."

Foil is made of aluminum, not tin. You seem like a George-Bush-kind-of-guy. Say 'newcueler'.

  25. s3n
    February 18th, 2009 | 13:28

"So the question here is why would the count of days just stop?"

    Because further calculations were unnecessary.

You are writing this question on a website, via the internet on a personal computer. Wanna guess what was cutting edge technology when the Mayans stopped needing calenders ?

"maybe not in 2012 but for sure all this world will go to hell at any moment with a war, a plague, pollution or a meteorite"

There's a meteorite coming by in a few years time and based on it's trajectory then, we will know if it collides with us when it swings back around 7 years later.

Personally I like the idea of a gamma ray burst. Some distant sun goes supernova billions of years ago and when the gamma rays reach earth, whatever half of the earth is facing the source, dies.

Do you also argue that when looking into distant space that time remains constant?

Mayans were nowhere near advanced as we are now, the point is they are primative, yet they have a amazing understanding of astronomical events.

The Saint i have watched numerous documentaries on 2012.

The thing i was trying to say, that the point of these documentaries isn't about some predictions or some crazy man living in a cave stories. It is about the end of time.. at least for mayan's it was.

It is pure logic and fact that our understanding of time is addapted from the mayan's.

Just remmember for some of people these kind of documentaries are just to make money out of you'r fears and belifs..

Why is it some days go fast, and others drag?
Some say it depends wether your busy or not.
But I don't completley buy that one.
Many years ago I took some LSD and time was no where to be found. This has also happened on other substances like alcohol, cannabis etc.
Now when I was 13 me & a pal used to 'sniff' puncture repair glue, and do you know the funny/amazing thing that used too happen everytime we did this?
It always lasted an exact hour!!! Everytime!???
Either that or we were that 'out our nuts' we thought we understood time.
    Who knows? Who cares?
    Monkey Government!

This prediction is not predicted only by the Maya also Nostradamus mentioned that 2012 is the end of the world and the beginning of a new one. No one is certain about this so you cannot believe or disbelieve it until it actually happens. So we wait, that is all we can do.

The significance of 2012 doesn't have to be the apocalypse. The vast majority of sources say it's the beginning of a new world. Unfortunately, the old world has to die first. Whether you follow the Hopi tribes point of view, the ancient mayans, newer stuff like time wave zero, or "channeled information". Even science points to some interesting stuff in that time frame. No matter what you believe, you can't stop the world from changing and growing.

Some people think Jesus will return. Some think we'll all be destroyed. Some think we'll finally have disclosure of extra-terrestrial visitors. Some think we'll even get first contact. Some think we'll change vibrations and enter a new plane of existence. But the majority of people that I've spoken to just think it's a time of great change. Ideas and beliefs will be shaken to the core as humanity is forced to grow beyond it's own seemingly infinite ignorance.

LOL, this so called documentary is just another product of a multi-million dollar industry that thrives on superstition and ignorance of the general public and every few years come up with another date for the end of the world after the previous one failed… stop believing nonsense people, wake up and deal with the REAL problems humanity is facing.
