Let’s have a serious post!  This is the first debate of four, between the two president candidates, McCain and Obama. Haven’t seen it yet, but most people say it was not a very good debate, with McCain always saying : “you don’t understand.” . Yes, I’m pro-Obama :)

America is a fascist government and McSame will only continue to facilitate it. Unfortunately the real reason we don’t want to spend money on education is to keep the poor ignorant and control them through religion. I would prefer to have a Harvard educated man in office than a war “hero” who was shot down five times in Vietnam because he was a lousy pilot.
    As for Palin. Really???
    http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/25/eveningnews/main4479062.shtml

You should watch her interview with Katie Couric, she does herself funnier than Tina Fey.
Biden is gonna destroy her. That is why McSame wanted to postpone the debates for next Thursday when the VP’s were supposed to. As for McSame postpone all of his campaigning, yes he did for the one day, but his wife was in Seattle campaigning for him at fundraisers.

Well if you know McCain and his history, he is not a preferred candidate for the republican party, they would have preferred Mit Romney because he is conservative. McCain disagreed with Bush on alot of things, including the torture of prisoners, the fence on the mexican border, last year he pushed to have Russia thrown out of the G8 for their action against the Chezchnians, his views are considered way to the left for a republican, in fact in Arizona they call him Juan McCain. He’s actually a democrat hiding as a republican and is the reason why he and Obama agreed on alot of things in the debate. If McCain becomes president, he will not be like Bush. My brother lives in Chicago, Obama was viewed by most, as not doing anything for his constituants, & reason he was not re-elected in his state. His good with his mouth, but no action follows. He spent most of his time as a Jr Senator raising money for his re-election, & nothing for Chicago’ns. Wake up people Obama is a fake.

As a non American the outcome of this election means sh1t to me.

Well no that’s not true, in fact the outcome of this vote means everything to everyone regarding the financial state of the world economy.

America needs to do a few things.

    1. Vote Obama 08 or your all screwed.
    2. Pull 1/2 or even all of your damn troops back from THE WAR ON TERRRROR!!! For F@#Ks sake you are in so much damn debt because of the flipping cost of keeping your army so far from home. ( Rich get rich poor get screwed )
    3. Scrap your medical system. Its S@#t. Start again and maybe get some non American ( Maybe Canadian ) guys/girls to help you set it up. Clearly you have no idea.

    4. Maybe explain in just a little more detail where this + $600 Billion is coming from.. Are you planning on Hyper inflating your economy so the short term looks better? LoL GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

** These comments are not directed to American citizens but are a general whinge sorta directed at the leaders of state. **

Obams’ Minister is not racist. Fox news only showed an edited clip of his speech. You can view the full thing on YouTube:
    http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QOdlnzkeoyQ

Your being played, Irans President Ahmadinejad also did NOT say he wanted too see Israel wiped off the map.
He said he wanted to see the Palestinian/Israeli conflict erased from the map of human history.
Again, Fox edited it to make you their dumb prisoner.

As for free-health care, the rich of Europe realised a long time ago that workers get sick. If they die in numbers, you lose your workforce. Ergo> throw ‘em some free health care. They’ll love you for it, and keep working!

    OBAMA in 2008!
    lesser of 2 evils.

    McCain & Palin??? seriously???!!

  14. I LOVE Canada
    September 29th, 2008 | 11:13

There are so many dumb comments here I don’t know where to start. This is definitely directed to all you trigger happy conservatives. I can call myself a Liberal and be proud of it, as well I can call myself Canadian and be proud of it. The presidential debate was not productive at all. First off you have McCain spouting all the ” I’m a war hero, give me your sympathy crap” and then starts speaking about nonsense. What Americans need is a president with some solid policies that will further your country in the future. Obama’s policy on renewable energy, education, and universal healthcare is what you need. Providing individuals with jobs, and the knowledge to read.

In Canada we do get taxed on our health care and that is perfectly fine with me. Why shouldn’t we all have some coverage? You conservative Americans only look out for yourself. I am more than happy to pay my taxes and help someone in need of health care, even if I don’t use it myself. At least I know when I am 80 and without an income, I have health care. Ask some of the European countries they seems perfectly content. I don’t live in one of the best cities in the world for no reason….

And don’t get me started on your gun control… The right to bear arms my ass. the US has such a high homicide rate for a reason… GUNS. Please do the world a favour and stop producing all the guns that end up illegally in to my country and others.

I truly hope that OBAMA gets elected to be the president of the United States and I believe a lot of people around the world is hoping for that too. And the sad thing is, we don’t even live in your country… !

    September 29th, 2008 | 12:57

    @ common sense

you are a stupid, ignorant and arrogant pr!ick

we are all so proud of you and your family for doing so well in life, but you absolutley DO NOT understand the concept of ‘health care for all’, especially when you think the systems (which work 100x better than yours in the US) in for example Canada or the UK are “a lifetime of hand outs”
You are an elitist moron with a sad outlook on life.

p.s. when they say ‘16 weeks waiting time’ in the UK that is NOT for a simple visit to the Doctor you twit.

Haha.. over here where I live all of you would be a joke “Republicans are better!!” “No! Democrats” “Repulicans” “Democrats” “You’re stupid!! I won’t play with you anymore” haha. Grow up, politics ist not like a popstar casting like American Idol.. all of you have to find a solution for your country instead of arguing all day ;) I don’t get it anyway because politicans never do.. especially in the USA what the people really need so why don’t you fraternize with each oder.

  18. The Real Truth
    September 29th, 2008 | 14:58

    History 101
For those that don’t know about history … Here is a condensed version:

Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

    1. Liberals, and
    2. Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that wa s the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That’s how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q’s and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn’t fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today’s lesson in world history:

It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond, and whine and cry about the above before forwarding it along with a pro-Obama message.

A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to tick them off.

    And there you have it.

Let your next action reveal your true self.
