Shortly after Blu-ray’s launch last year the word got around pretty quickly that Sony was blocking the adult entertainment industry’s access to distributing pornography on Blu-ray. According to his experience on the frontlines, the real problem was getting the Blu-ray discs pressed in quantity, as all the major replication facilities were contractually obligated to not touch any adult material. Smaller facilities reportedly feared retribution from Sony. As such, adult entertainment in the States has seriously favored HD-DVD, leading to many analogies to the VHS / Betamax format war in which porn played a major role. Times seem to be changing however, at least in Japan. According to several producers at the recent Adult Treasure Expo 2007 in Chiba, Japan, Sony has begun offering extensive technical support to the domestic adult entertainment industry.

Various restrictions exist on how discs can be replicated in Japan as well as the US, but a workaround has been engineered in which Taiwanese replicators have been granted licenses and equipment from Sony to press adult Blu-ray releases and send them back to Japan. Mass production is slated to begin in August. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a similar solution engineered for America, and there are, in fact, already a few Blu-ray releases available here. Now the only hurdle left for Hentai fans looking for some tentacle action in 1080p is finding a reliable exporter in Japan. Stuffing your luggage full of the stuff on your next vacation won’t work, as the Japanese like to keep their homegrown porn all to themselves, and they’ll confiscate anything they find when you try to leave the country. Damn, who would think this Blu-Ray / HDDVD battle may be decided by porn!

A totally new game franchise will be coming from Rockstar Games–creator of the Manhunt and Grand Theft Auto series–and it will be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 3. SCEA’s director of third-party relations, Michael Shorrock, wrote on the official US PlayStation blog, “As part of our long standing relationship with Rockstar, and the incredible success for both companies with the cultural icon that is Grand Theft Auto we’ve agreed to the PlayStation exclusive rights of the next great franchise from the Rockstar studios.”

According to Shorrock, “Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3.” He also said that the reason Sony locked the IP down as an exclusive deal was because it believed that it would “set the bar for the rest of the industry.” Recently, more and more titles which were previously thought to be exclusive to one console or another have been announced as multiplatform, including Assassin’s Creed, Fatal Inertia, and Devil May Cry 4.

The last episode, the final five remaining celebrated their successes as a new team. Josh met a nice ‘GTFO‘ from chef Ramsay, and he was eliminated right then and there. When Julia was eliminated from the team, it was not all a negative moment. Ramsay recognized her potential and talent, and sent her to professional cooking school from his on payroll. He said to her to comeback and win next year’s season. Rock had some violent outbursts last episode, with general temper tantrums. Will tonight’s episode turn around the poor dinner services, or will be in for a surprise?

The three remaining chefs prepare fine-dining versions of classic American dishes for outside judges—their mothers, who don’t know whose plates they’re sampling. Then each contestant gets to run Hell’s Kitchen during dinner service. They must watch for subtle traps set for them by sous chefs MaryAnn and Scott.

Here’s another DVDRip from group DiAMOND, this time being the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Movie. Quality is great since it has been released by DiAMOND. I highly recommend you watch this film if you like Aqua Teen, or you like stupid humor like I do. Enjoy

AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE is a cult favorite on the Cartoon Network’s late-night animation segment, Adult Swim. The show hits the big screen with the strangely titled AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE COLON MOVIE FILM FOR THEATERS, and the plot is as convoluted and nonsensical as the title. Bored, and in hopes of attracting women, Meatwad and Master Shake assemble their second-hand workout machine, the “Insane-o-flex.” Frylock steps in to help and discovers it’s missing a crucial part–the power chip. They recover the chip, and upon installation launch the machine into its real purpose as a killer robot.

This film will be a must-see for hardcore fans of AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE, as several of the sub-characters from the series appear in the film. These include the Mooninites, the Plutonians, MC Pee Pants, and Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future. The traits of the three main characters symbolize Freud’s three-part structural theory of the psyche: the Ego, Super-ego, and Id–and the concept works as both a feature-length film and as a fun, absurd 15-minute cartoon.

Here’s a new DVDRip from well known group DiAMOND, this time being Fracture. There have only been 2 releases of this film: a CAM, and a TS. This a really good thriller staring Anthony Hopkins, who most people know from the Hannibal series and Ryan Gosling who people may know from The Notebook. Quality is great considering it’s coming from DiAMOND who always release great quality R1 DVDRips. This release comes with english and spanish subs for those of you who use them. For anyone who likes a good thriller like I do download and enjoy (Sorry about not having any samples release didn’t have a sample video. I’ll put up some screenshots when i finish dowloading the whole thing.)

Here’s the proper of a new limited drama 9/Tenths. But let’s start from the beginning: earlier this evening, group TRG released an R5 rip of this flick – 9.Tenths.2006.R5.XViD-TRG. All looked fine and it wasn’t nuked for anything. However, few hours later, LRC released this proper with notes about bad AR. TRG’s aspect ratio was by few pixels over the allowed AR, so they nuked it. If you already downloaded the first release, you can clearly consider this a non-sense nuke, as the difference is really minimal. Both image and audio quality are fine. As about the movie, it doesn’t look bad, but there aren’t enough reviews or ratings to say the final verdict…

Jessica (Anwar) and husband William (Cusick) have fled the city amid ever-increasing terrorist threats. William is excited to relocate to his newly purchased ranch hundreds of miles from nowhere. Jessica reluctantly humors her husband and his paranoid fears by going along. On their arrival, William and Jessica discover someone already living in their house. Elias (Ortiz) proves quite an intimidating presence when the couple discovers him in their kitchen butchering a freshly killed animal. But Elias soon explains in his broken English that he was the caretaker for the previous owner who had promised to let him continue living there as a reward for his services. William knows of no such arrangement and quickly attempts to get rid of this man he sees as nothing more than a trespasser.

Group SAPHiRE surprised many people today by releasing a dvdrip of a British comedy “I Want Candy” 3 weeks before the street date. Compared to American Pie by many people, this title focuses mostly on teenage audience. The reviews are uncommonly diverse – people from the United Kingdom may find this movie funny and entertaining, while most of Americans will be bored as hell. There is almost no nude content at all if you’re asking, which means no naked Carmen Electra in the role of Candy. This is a standard 1 CD rip with MP3 audio.

“I Want Candy” follows two hopeful lads from Leatherhead trying to break into the movies, who stumble upon the opportunity of a lifetime.
