This certain CSI episode is not like any I have seen before. The producers are very talented at creating different and intriguing plots and twists. A former boxer goes through a series of unfortunate events, and the culprits of each crime just manage to be withdrawn at the last moment with new updates in the investigation. The episode is filled with dark humor and lends a few laughs to those who view it.

A long awaited release of Spider Man 3 becomes the reality. Well, it’s not the movie itself, but at least the game to satisfy first wave of impatience for everything with Spiderman 3 on it. This is an extremely huge release – the game itself was released mainly for consoles and developers obviously didn’t pay much attention to its PC conversion. You can expect enormous hardware requirements as the result of this, and also full DVD size with not that good game. This is a nogroup release with minimal amount of information in the NFO (”copy crack”), but it has been reported as working. I’m really looking forward to the movie, which will have the US premiere in New York on 30th April. Have fun!

• Manhattan in the game is far bigger than in Spider-Man 2 and is actually the biggest city made for a Spider-Man video game. The game will also feature over 20 miles of sewers and subways. This is definite for the next-gen and current-gen games; the handhelds will have a free-roaming environment also, but no size is confirmed.
• Spider-Man has a brand new combat system that was worked from the ground up and includes more aerial moves and web attacks, something the game designers really wanted to add into it. This is in every single version of the game. For the Wii, the motion sensors will be used during combat, the nunchuck will be Spider-mans left hand while the remote will be the right, moving both the nunchuck and the remote in different directions will cause Spider-man to do different attacks.
• In the Wii version, the motion sensors will also be used for web-slinging as well as combat. Again, the remote & nunchuck will be Spidey’s left & right hands, flicking the remote or nunchuck while in the air will fire a webshot in the direction you flicked, handy for when you need to go round corners.
• Part of the game puts the player in control of the Black Suited Spider-Man where Spider-Man’s combat system has more brutal moves and a “Rage” system that allows the most aggressive moves in the whole game. Also note that on the Playstation 3 & the Wii you can get the black suit at anytime during gameplay.
• Rather than cutscenes, the game will feature cineractives that are button sensitive. Game director Chris Arcer explained that all the gameplay is playable, including what would be included as a cinematic. Cineractives are motion based on Wii version.
• There are 10 storylines (one of which is the movie storyline) and all the crime is caused by 4 rival gangs that will interact differently as the Artificial Intelligence in the game is improved due to next-gen technology.

It has been quite a long time since last game release and I’m happy that iTWiNS finally breaks this waiting for some decent game title with a CloneDVD of Dawn of Magic. Dawn of Magic is an RPG also known as Blood Magic (UK name). This isn’t somehow epoch-making game, just an average title trying to get some popularity. The positive side of this release is presence of 4 languages: English, German, Italian and French. The game is protected by StarForce so you need to follow instructions in NFO to make this work (just mount it in the latest version of Alcohol).

In a realm of magic, the immortal Modo has been stripped of his powers and sent to live on the Earth as a mortal in punishment for his crimes in the Afterlife. Now the furious Modo is on a quest to not only regain his lost powers, but to gain enough strength to destroy the Earth once and for all. As the story’s hero, players must decide to either thwart Modo’s plans for destruction and ultimately defeat this evil being or to aid him in his diabolical quest. The Bloody Magic is single and multiplayer, 3rd person RPG for PC where the weapon of choice is magic. The game is set in a richly detailed medieval-style world, allowing the player a wide variety of choices both in individual quests and character development.

The Bloody Magic is different from most other popular RPG titles in that the player characters are all of one type: magician. There are over a dozen different fields of magic, allowing players many choices for specialization. This is especially useful in multiplayer games, allowing each member of a party to have different specializations. The most unique aspect of magic system is the ability to combine spells. Hey guys, it’s Kevin again! It’s been more then one month since I’ve started my own blog and since then a few things have changed. Reviews will become a more prominent feature on my blog, as well as summaries of news rather then sloppy individual posts for small news. I’m almost done with high school which means that there’ll be more time to review movies as well as games. Video reviews are in the planning stages but are currently not possible because of technical issues. Apps will also be reviewed if deemed worthy and of course there’s a lot of news on games, movies, hardware and more! It has been only few days since I commented a big difference in time between dvdscr and dvdrip in case of various releases and we got a really nice proof of this theory now: the old school group ViTE released a new dvdrip of Arthur And The Invisibles 3 minutes ago, just 2 days after iKA’s dvd screener. I consider this group as one of the best in the scene, together with Diamond and few others, so you can be sure it’s a top quality release. English and Spanish subtitles are also included.

Director Luc Besson (THE FIFTH ELEMENT) tries his hand at a children’s film with ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES. Based on a book, this adventure follows Arthur (Freddie Highmore) as he journeys in his own backyard to save his home from greedy land developers. When his grandfather disappears, Freddie follows a series of clues that lead him to the land of the Minimoys (aka the Invisibles). Arthur’s entrance into their realm takes the film from live-action to computer animation, changing Arthur from a 10-year-old boy into one of the Minimoys. The elf-like people he encounters are so tiny that insects dwarf them. Their warrior princess (voiced by Madonna) is ready to ascend the throne of the tiny kingdom. But first she and Arthur must join forces to outwit the evil Malthazar (voiced by David Bowie), who is intent on destroying the kindhearted race.

ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES boasts a cast of talented actors. Mia Farrow plays Arthur’s concerned grandmother, which is quite a change from her malevolent nanny in THE OMEN. The trio of musicians-turned-actors (Madonna, Snoop Dogg, and Bowie) are all fun in their vocal roles, and Bowie particularly shines as the villain. Other standouts include Robert De Niro, Jimmy Fallon, Harvey Keitel, and Jason Bateman, while Highmore brings the same wide-eyed wonder to the screen as he did in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. In fact, ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES shares a similar imaginative spirit with the works of Tim Burton and Roald Dahl. Though Besson’s previous films have been adults-only fare like LA FEMME NIKITA, he brings a sense of childlike awe to this project.

Now finally something for all horror lovers. A new scary movie with little lame name White Noise 2: The Light offers a surprisingly good story if you compare it with film’s budget. The only part which ruins it is the ending, but it’s overally not that bad and you shouldn’t have any thoughts about stopping and deleting it during the playback. Once again, this is a DoNe release, so quality is guaranteed.

Abe Dale (Nathan Fillion) has a good job and a loving family- until one day his family is murdered in front of his eyes and in broad daylight by a man named Henry Caine (Craig Fairbrass) who then kills himself. Haunted by guilt for not being able to save his family, Abe attempts suicide and nearly succeeds- but he resists being drawn to a ‘bright white light’ before dying and survives. But shortly afterwards he starts noticing white glows around people and learns these glows mean these people are about to die unless he saves them. Abe uses his new gift to it’s full advantage and saves many lives- but he then learns that ‘if you save a life, you are responsible for it’ and as he goes digging deeper into the motives behind his family’s killing and the full extent of his new-found powers, it takes him on a terrifying and apocalyptic journey into hell from which there will be no escape.

Stephanie Daley is another limited drama which could become way more successful with minor changes in plot and a small deal of media buzz. It’s a tragic story between psychologist, 16-year pregnant girl and other characters. This is kind of movie which shouldn’t be watched if you are in some bad mood, because it can be quite touching. AS you can see from the release name, dvdrip from HLS comes with full screen resolution, so we can expect a widescreen one soon.

16-year-old STEPHANIE DALEY (Amber Tamblyn) is hospitalized unexpectedly during a school fieldtrip while, in a nearby public restroom, a dead newborn is discovered. Faced with charges of murder, Stephanie claims she never knew she was pregnant and that the child was stillborn. Forensic psychologist Lydie Crane (Tilda Swinton) is hired to determine the truth behind Stephanie’s continuing state of denial. Coincidentally, Lydie is herself pregnant and struggles with an impending fear that her marriage and her pregnancy is in jeopardy. Her intuition intensifies with each session with Stephanie and she soon believes that unraveling the teenager’s mystery is somehow crucial to her own fate.

Featuring gripping performances by Tilda Swinton and Academy Award-winner Timothy Hutton, STEPHANIE DALEY is anchored by a brave powerhouse performance by Amber Tamblyn. Writer/director Hilary’s Brougher’s evocative film, winner of Best Screenplay at Sundance Film Festival, weaves two parallel journeys into a sublime masterpiece about the absolute nature of truth.
