Weekend video: Tata Dicor ad

Adding one funny video at the end of the week seems to work quite well so I’ll continue in this tradition with another short clip. It’s nothing too funny this time, but rather impressive: a TV commercial aired in India for Tata Dicor, and offroad car. I love the music and overall flow of this ad, it’s simply cool.

Google PageRank update: NewTorrents = PR6

Google is performing one of its PageRank updates right now - this means that every website is re-ranked with new PageRank value. PageRank is quite a complicated system rewarding sites by their popularity and amount of links to them with points from 1 to 10, 10 is the best value. Google updates these values just a few times a year and most sites don’t notice any change, but I checked the new values for NewTorrents.info and I’m happy to say it was updated from PR5 to PR6 (nice tool to check PageRank of your website). Making a PR5 website isn’t that complicated, it takes few months of work, but getting on PR6 is quite a challenge for all webmasters. This puts NewTorrents beside such giants as ThePirateBay, Mininova or TorrentSpy, which are all marked as PR6.

The funny thing about PageRank is it may display different value to different people. This is caused by circa 70 datacentres used by Google, which have to be synchronised first to return the same values. This takes few days or weeks, so if you have Google toolbar installed, it may show you both PR5 or PR6 for NewTorrents. I’m really happy for this increasement (although it already was PR6 for some time and then dropped back to PR5) - NewTorrents.info reached about 100 000 unique visitors everyday in latest weeks and I hope this can still increase a bit. These values were reached by some SEO optimization I’ve done recently and also by faster uploads of new releases. I also finished a brand new script during this weekend, which will bring you new TV shows and XviD movies even faster than now. Thank you & have fun visiting our sites!

Hot Fuzz R5 LINE XViD-PUKKA

Guys from PUKKA released a new R5 rip of British super-movie Hot Fuzz few moments ago and we’re here to give you few details about this release. Hot Fuzz stands out at IMDB with a really high rating of 8.2, something which can’t be said about many movies. We’ve been covering the first cam of this movie almost 2 months ago, but this is a huge developement in quality. As we alreaedy got used to, this R5 offers absolutely perfect video quality and also not that bad audio (edit: well after listening to the full movie, I must say is actually is bad). It’s no wonder we don’t see almost any Telecines lately, because these Russian rips are way better. I’m going to watch the movie right now, and you should do so as soon as possible if you like great movies…

Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He’s so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel’s superiors send him to a place where his talents won’t be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman. The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman, Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life “bad boy,” and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for.

Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny’s puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel’s growing frustration. However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny’s dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It’s time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.

Caliban - The Awakening (2007)

Heavy metal band Caliban has a new album releasing on the 28th of May but it was leaked on the internet 2 days ago. I was checking out their myspace to see what kind of music they make and started to listening to one track from the previous album and it was alright when the drum, guitar etc. started playing but when it got to the singing i just stopped the track. The singing is really heavy metal stuff (shouting most of the lyrics) and i don’t really like that kind of music its too crazy for me. I’m sure you guys would check this album out.Caliban, a metalcore-band, was formed in Hattingen, Germany in 1997 under the name Never Again. After 6 months of playing together, the band recorded their first two songs for a demo, which was never released. The songs were sent to several record labels, and Lifeforce Records was the first to offer the band a record deal. The band’s first self-titled EP came out in the summer of 1998. To promote it, Caliban played many shows all over Europe and a few support shows for bands like Morning Again, Earth Crisis, and Cro-Mags.

LA Confidential 1997 WS DVDRip XviD-AXIAL

Once the “Pussycat Dolls” show has ended the only thing for me posting on Releaselog is the Old DVDRiP’s. I decided to do this because the less time I have in this time period. A very good film with Kevin Spacey, Kim Basinger, Russell Crowe, Danny DeVito and Guy Pearce came online by AXIAL. The movie has a 8.4 rating with almost 100 thousand of votes and is placed on the 56th spot of the IMDB top 250. It is one of the movies I have never seen and this is the opportunity for me to watch this one. People who have also missed this, I think it looks very promising. Enjoy!

Director Curtis Hanson captures the duality of 1950s Los Angeles in this striking film noir adaptation of James Ellroy’s novel. The City of Angels might be sunny, inviting, and glamorous to the rest of the world, but it’s also filled with corrupt cops, elegant hookers, murder cover-ups, and manipulative paparazzi, all of which are just the tip of the iceberg. It’s impossible to know exactly who’s trustworthy and who’s not as three detectives (Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, and Guy Pearce) each use their own tactics to investigate a coffee-shop massacre.

The script by Hanson and Brian Helgeland maintains the fragile framework of human relationships developed in the novel, while 45 different shooting locations give the film a solidly unique tone and feeling of integrity, immersing the viewer in 1950s Los Angeles. The entire cast is first-rate, with compelling performances from Spacey, Crowe, Pearce, James Cromwell, Danny DeVito, Kim Basinger, and David Strathairn.

VA-Spider-Man 3-(OST)-2007-uF

I will make a small exception today and post one more music release apart from A.J.’s usual 1 post per day. This release is a new soundtrack for Spiderman 3. We already had the game here, now the soundtrack so only the most important part is missing: the movie itself. Talking about music on this OST, I must say it simply rocks - 16 tracks of mostly rock music warms you up a lot and I’m pretty sure they will suit the movie really well. The first cam of Spiderman 3 will hopefuly appear at the beginning of the next week.

You know you’re dealing with a real blockbuster when the soundtrack is made up not only of rocking tracks, but of rocking tracks that were recorded specifically for the movie instead of being fished out of various preexisting albums. (Okay, except for Chubby Checker’s “The Twist”–that one’s not hot off the presses.) Such is the power of Spidey that he inspired the likes of Snow Patrol, the Killers, Jet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Wolfmother–and of course you just have to look at the title of “The Supreme Being Teaches Spider-Man How to Be in Love” to know the song is by the Flaming Lips.

The overall mood is less heavy than on the previous soundtrack, with the selection hitting pretty close to an alt-rock bull’s eye. Highlights include “Sealings,” a return to form for Yeah Yeah Yeahs; the Walkmen’s evocative “Red River”; and Jet’s “Falling Star,” a muscular piece of retro-balladry. Among the oddities are Coconut Records, the new project of actor (and former Phantom Planet member) Jason Schwartzman; its contribution, the lovely “Summer Day,” features backup vocals by Kirsten “Mary Jane” Dunst. Still, sometimes a big name is not needed: One of the best tracks, the anthemic “Portrait of a Summer Thief,” is by the unsigned (as of this writing) Austin band Sounds Under Radio.

Tracklist:

Snow Patrol - “Signal Fire”
The Killers - “Move Away”
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - “Sealings”
Wolfmother - “Pleased to Meet You”
The Walkmen - “Red River”
Black Mountain - “Stay Free”
The Flaming Lips - “The Supreme Being Teaches Spider-Man How to be In Love”
Simon Dawes - “Scared of Myself”
Chubby Checker - “The Twist”
Rogue Wave - “Sight Lines”
Jason Schwartzman and Kirsten Dunst - “Summer Day”
Jet - “Falling Star”
Sounds Under Radio - “Portrait of a Summer Thief”
Wasted Youth Orchestra - “A Letter to St. Jude”
Oohlas - “Small Parts”

The Invisible CAM VCD-HYdRO

An another new movie which was premiered during this weekend and now released in the first cam is mysterious thriller The Invisible. This is a remake of Swedish movie “Den Onsynlige,” which was very popular, so you can assume The Invisible will be quite a hit too. The first cam released by group HYdRO just few minutes ago comes in VCD so it may be wise to wait little longer for 1 CD XviD version which will appear sooner or later. The quality of this release isn’t bad for a cam, but as I said, XviD copy will be way more suitable to watch on PC.

From the producers of “The Sixth Sense” and the co-writer of “Batman Begins” comes THE INVISIBLE, a chilling supernatural thriller about a teenager who finds himself trapped between two worlds - invisible to the living and all too close to the dead. A high school senior with a bright future, Nick Powell (JUSTIN CHATWIN) is suddenly attacked on a dark night, his shattered body left for dead. Now, caught in a haunting limbo where he can observe the world of the living but they can’t see him, his only chance at a future is to figure out the mystery of what happened to him and why before time runs out. But how do you solve a murder when the victim is you?

As Nick attempts to uncover the ominous truth behind his ghostly condition, the trail leads from his mother (Academy Award winner MARCIA GAY HARDEN) to his best friend (CHRIS MARQUETTE) to a shady criminal (ALEX O’LAUGHLIN) to the tough, troubled girl (MARGARITA LEVIEVA) who Nick comes to realize may hold the key to his awakening from the unexplainable.

No one can see him, no one can hear him, no one, not even his best friends, seem to know he is there. This is the situation Nick Powell finds himself in one morning when he arrives at school. Nick has become invisible to the world and, indeed, he will soon come to realize that his very existence is in question. The victim of a terrible crime, Nick is caught in the mysterious, unseen spaces between life and death. Now, his only hope at returning to his life is to become an ethereal detective on the trail of his own murder, to try to piece together the puzzle of where his near-lifeless body is and how he got there -but, as it turns out, the one person who can help him do that needs saving herself.
