Two black labrador s dogs, Lucky and Flo sit next to the shipment boxes containing pirated optical discs after the “Operation Double Trouble” demonstration at the main air cargo complex in Sepang, Malaysia, Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Music and movie pirates have put out a contract on Lucky and Flo, the two Labradors who helped sniff out nearly 1 million illegal discs within days of joining Malaysia’s anti-piracy effort. The two female Labradors have been trained to detect polycarbonate chemicals used in manufacturing discs. But officials received a tip-off that bootleggers are using chemical sprays to throw Lucky and Flo off the scent.

Ministry authorities last week said the dogs were moved to a safe house after a source informed them that DVD and CD pirates were offering a bounty to anyone who could kill the dogs, which are on loan for at least a month from the Motion Picture Association of America. The dogs, which began sniffing out disc shipments at Malaysia’s main airport on March 13, won acclaim when they traveled south to Johor, helping officials uncover 1 million pirated DVDs, CDs and computer game discs worth $2.8 million in an office complex on March 19. Malaysia is among the world’s main producers and exporters of pirated discs, the U.S. government and the MPAA have said. According to the Malaysian government, 5 million discs were seized in more than 2,000 raids nationwide last year, and 780 people were arrested. Damn, don’t you guys at MPAA have some dog sniffing for my keys? I lose them all the time…

A few days ago the Cam version came online of the new horror sequel and now the TS of it. Number one was a decent horror film remake and I hope the second one will be just nice as the first part. Samples look ok for people who really want to see it now and can’t wait for a better release.

A better movie than all other that I posted the last 24 hours. With a nice main role cast: Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz. I haven’t seen the trailer yet but I think it’s a very good movie once seen the reviews and the ratings on the Inet.

It’s been a long, strange trip since Darren Aronofsky last invited viewers into his cinematic world–six years in fact–but THE FOUNTAIN is sure to enchant, beguile, and inspire intense debate among his patient fans. During the frustrating gap since 2000’s REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, Aronofsky has struggled to bring THE FOUNTAIN to the screen, principally because leading man Brad Pitt dropped out of the project. The complex tale is split into three different time periods, beginning in the 16th century, when a conquistador named Tomas (Hugh Jackman) strives to find the Tree of Life. The second part of the story finds Jackman playing a Buddha-like character who zips through outer space and dreams of a woman named Izzi (Rachel Weisz). And the third part, which consumes most of the film’s screen time, is set in the present day and sees Jackman playing a doctor named Tommy, who is married to the terminally ill Izzi. In this third section Tommy strives to find a cure for Izzi’s brain tumor, and makes some progress after experimenting on a monkey with a substance discovered in a tree in South America. Meanwhile, Izzi has been writing a book that she calls THE FOUNTAIN, but has left the final chapter for Tommy to write.

As Aronofsky pushes and pulls his sepia-tinted film between the three time periods, he weaves a deeply thoughtful, special effects-laden story that touches on themes of mortality and self, and requires a great deal of work from the director’s audience. Movies such as Kubrick’s 2001 and Tarkovsky’s SOLARIS come to mind as Aronofsky gets deep into philosophical waters, and the various story strands of THE FOUNTAIN are as inconclusive and open to interpretation as the films that have clearly influenced it. The film makes for uneasy and sometimes confusing viewing, but will find its audience among intrepid souls who are fully prepared to let go and immerse themselves in Aronofsky’s peculiar, daring, and thoughtful cinematic universe.

10 days after the Cam was released, here is the TS version of a decent movie “I Think I Love My Wife”. Just because of Chris Rock I definitely gonna see this one. I might check it in the cinema if it appears here. Sorry but I couldn’t find samples for this release, but still… enjoy!

When I saw the title I thought that they re-released the movie of 2005 “Stay“. But this is another movie, a low budget comedy/drama film also known as: “Sleeping Dogs Lie”. The cast looks unknown to me but I think the movie will be nice for some girls who like this kind of movies more than men. So girls, go and get it

Grand Theft Auto aka GTA is the only game that I have played all episodes of. I remember the game that came out sometimes in 1997 and the last that came out in the summer of 2005. San Andreas was the last game that Rockstar Games brought out of the GTA 3 trilogy. At the end of 2007 GTA IV will be released for consoles only. I don’t know the date of the PC release, but I really hope they bring it out for PC too. The last game “San Andreas” came out for the PC 8 months after the console releases. The trailer supposed to come out today but the site is out of order right now, it might be because of high bandwidth, but it will be back online sooner or later.
