She was 7 when the alleged infringement occurred, and whose disabled mother lives on Social Security. “It is not our intention to target children ,” said Peter Jamieson disingenuously, not long after the news broke that the Big 4 were suing Briana.He runs the BPI (British Phonographic Industry), another industry owned RIAA-style organization. Although it’s not their intension, they do it again and again. These children usually don’t know a difference between downloading a movie from internet or asking parents to buy it, but that’s something that RIAA can’t probably realize.

“The RIAA is insisting on deposing Tanya Andersen’s 10-year-old daughter in Atlantic v. Andersen, in Oregon,” says Recording Industry vs The People, where can be found more information about this case. To be deposed is to be questioned by a lawyer or lawyers under oath. And in cases such as the ones being brought by the RIAA, it’s guaranteed to be a fearsome experience – certainly not one any child of 10 should be exposed to except in the most extreme circumstances. I’m just asking myself what can we expect next…

I didn’t want to post this but I thought, that there are some people who want to download just the 1CD release of it. Group DEiTY just released a 1CD version of what DiAMOND released hours ago. A very bad attempt by this group if I can say. They reveal that the movie is 110minutes and putting it in 2 CDs is oversizing. I totally disagree and will grab the DiAMOND release.

Thank God! One of the films I was waiting to see in the cinema didn’t come here in my neighboorhood and right now it just came online by DiAMOND group. I just saw that a very good movie from the past was released few hours ago – John Travolta and Nicolas Cage played together in an amazing movie before 10 years. I think many of you have already seen this years ago but for those who haven’t seen it and for the young people who think this is oldish, I recommend you to see this one, it’s really great!

The plot of Face/Off follows the pursuit of an international terrorist-for-hire, Castor Troy (Nicholas Cage), by an FBI agent, Sean Archer (John Travolta). Archer is motivated mostly by revenge; several years before Troy, while attempting to assassinate Archer, had killed Archer’s young son, Michael. During a furious battle at an airport, Castor is injured and left comatose and his younger brother, Pollux (Alessandro Nivola) is captured and incarcerated.

Archer discovers Castor’s and Pollux’ real intentions: they plan to release a deadly biological agent somewhere in Los Angeles. With Castor in a coma, Archer’s only hope to stop them is to enter prison disguised as Castor and trick Pollux into revealing the location of the bomb. Archer subjects himself to an experimental plastic surgery technique that removes his own face and replaces it with Troy’s. After the procedure is complete and Archer takes Troy’s place in a super-maximum security prison Castor comes out of his coma and has the procedure performed on himself, stealing Archer’s face.

The remainder of the story concerns Castor’s taking advantage of Archer’s job and home life and Archer’s attempts to stop him and regain his true identity.

It has been already some time since last Alliance’s release, but they fix that now: a new dvdrip of Freedom Writers looks brilliant. This movie isn’t too well-known, but that doesn’t change anything on its qualities. Hilary Swank in the main role will be an enough attraction for many viewers, and a superb quality on two CDs as well. The official DVD is due 17 April, so you get this sweetie with two weeks in advance against everyone else.

Fresh-faced, idealistic twenty-three-year-old Erin Gruwell (Hilary Swank) is ready to take on the world as she steps inside Wilson High School for her first day of teaching. Her class, a diverse group of racially charged teenagers from different walks of life – African Americans, Latinos, Asians, juvenile delinquents, gang members, and underprivileged students from poor neighborhoods – hope for nothing more than to make it through the day. On the surface, the only thing they share is their hatred for each other and the understanding that they are simply being warehoused in the educational system until they are old enough to disappear. Despite her students’ obstinate refusal to participate during class, Erin tries various means to engage them on a daily basis.

But then ghetto reality steps in to focus the picture. A racially motivated gang shooting witnessed by a Latina gang member in Erin’s class, and an an ugly racial cartoon that Erin intercepts during class, become the most unwittingly dynamic teaching aids. They spark a transformation in the classroom, compel them to listen and force her to take off her idealistic blinders and take in the kids’ survival stories of their undeclared war on the streets. Erin begins to connect with them. She brings in music from the ‘Hood, and literature from another kind of ghetto, The Diary of Anne Frank, and with these simple tools she opens her students’ eyes to the experiences of those suffering intolerance throughout the world and the struggles of those outside their own communities.
