2007 MTV Movie Awards DSR XviD-SYS
The MTV movie awards were aired last night. I have never seen the awards show before, but now I get a chance thanks to group SYS. I heard all day on the radio the clip of Sarah Siverman dissing Paris Hilton. Since the show was broadcast live, there were plenty of opportunities for the comedians to go wild without worrying about censorship (scratch that, they had a delay-airing). If you have not yet heard the news, here it is from Wikipedia:
In September 2006, she was arrested for driving under the influence and subsequently sentenced to 36 months probation and had her license suspended. In February 2007, she was stopped for driving at 70 mph in a 35 mph zone and charged with violating her probation. Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, which was later reduced to 23.

Sarah Silverman was hilarious last night. A lot of people dislike her but her shot at Paris Hilton was genius.

Best part of the MTV awards was when Will Ferrell, and Sacha Baron Cohen, won the “Best Kiss” Other than that it was okay show. Oh yeah I almost for got that part about Adam Sandler and Kevin James, that was also good laughs!
On the paris note. it wasn’t reduced to 23. it’s just assumed she’ll get out in 23 for good behavior.

I can’t understand how Pirates beat out 300 or Borat for best picture.The crowd was cheering so loud when Sarah mentioned Paris going to jail.

No way, no Borat with it’s micro-budget and ever lesser worthy acting totally stood a chance against those two HUGE blockbusters. No… In fact I was shocked to see that it was even nominated for such an award. Come on people, it’s a goddamn mockumentary!! Also, as much as I love Johny Depp I think Will Smith should have gotten the award for best actor.

Absoulutely and without a doubt. As if the Talladega Kiss wasn’t hot enough! Damn annoying how the broadcast kept cutting to the audience. And of course, later, when Sacha won another award… “My lips still taste of Will.” This fangirl was certainly happy. Beyond that, the show was its usual overdone hype crap - too flashy and all the clips way too cut up. Gave me a headache after a while.

The MTV Movie Awards was great many years ago, that time however has passed.
About the only thing I’ve seem worth watching on the entire channel was the RockAMLive show featuring the return of the Smashing Pumpkins. And hell this was torrented from MTV Germany so I couldn’t understand the MTV VJs at the beginning and end, my sanity is thankfal.

I hate Sarah Silverman, but I hate Paris Hilton even more. So good one for ya Silverman, the rip on Hilton was hilarious, and Hiltons reaction at the end even better than that!
