First telecine of Miami Vice

There’s a new telecine for action thriller Miami Vice. I’ve already seen this movie and I really think it’s a bit overhyped, because I was pretty bored most time watching it. May be there are some good moments, but every movie has some of them, so you are lucky you can download it for free from the net. Some words about the quality – the video image is simply amazing, almost DVD quality, I would give it 9 of 10. Sound isn’t that good, but still pretty fine, so this is a very good choice…

After a tragic security breach in the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force (JIATF), the FBI ask for help from the Miami authorities, who are not part of the compromised group. This assignment goes to Detectives James ‘Sonny’ Crockett and Ricardo ‘Rico’ Tubbs. Going undercover as offshore boat racers and outlaw smugglers Sonny Burnett and Rico Cooper, they take on the narcotrafficking network of the mysterious Archangel de Jesus Montoya-Londono and his Cuban Chinese banker Isabella. The intensity of the case pushes Crockett and Tubbs out onto the edge where identity and fabrication become blurred, where cop and player become one – especially when Crockett falls for Isabella, and when there is an assault on Tubbs’s loved ones

Sony delays PS3 launch till March

It looks that all European console freaks will have to wait a bit more for their redemption. SONY has left the Christmas video-game console market wide open for rivals Microsoft and Nintendo, announcing that its PlayStation 3 unit will again be delayed and not hit the shops until March. Sony will stick to a November 17 launch in Japan and the US Sony’s largest single-country markets, and two countries that use the NTSC television standard. But for countries on the PAL standard including Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Russia, the PS3 has been held over until March. The delay means that the PS3 will give its chief rival, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, a year’s head-start in the Australian market.

Nintendo has also confirmed its much cheaper Wii unit will also appear locally before Christmas. Sony blamed the new delay on supply problems with the blue laser that will be used in the DVD drive of the units, which would affect “the timely procurement of key components to be utilised in PlayStation 3″, the company said. So now it’s all opened, the great next-gen console battle will be pretty interesting…

Kill.The.Poor.2006.LiMiTeD.XviD-ALLiANCE

When a marriage of convenience becomes the real thing, Joe (David Krumholtz) moves his pregnant French wife (Clara Bellar) to a tenement building on New York’s Lower East Side. The street is like a war zone with none of the nostalgic appeal that Joe remembers from tales of his immigrant grandparents arriving in the same neighborhood with a new life. This is the urban frontier filled with a wildly funny mixture of gentrifies, homeboys, dealers and local residents simply bent on staying a float.

Director: Alan Taylor, Starring: Clara Bellar, Jon Budinoff, Heather Burns, Paul Calderon

Drama, IMDB, 5.7/10, 1 CD, 85 mins, alliance-ktp-xvid

Evanescence – The Open Door

All fans of Evanescence can take a vacation, download a new album “The Open Door” and listen it again and again. Although I don’t like this kind of music too much, it’s pretty good, and especially when you can get it with nice advance against retails stores. There are 3 version of this album so far, first one released as a webrip, second internal, and then the final, retail one. I probably don’t have to mention which one is the best…

The Open Door was recorded in Los Angeles at The Record Plant in early 2006 and mixed at the venerable Ocean Way Studios in March 2006. It includes the return of long-time friend and producer Dave Fortman (Mudvayne, Bif Naked). The new album is an ideal showcase for the band’s inevitable personal and professional growth, with songs of introspection, longing, doubt, self-respect and ultimately, empowerment and anticipation. Several songs include a choir, as well as strings recorded in an old chapel. The album is defined by Amy Lee’s beautiful melodies, profound lyrics, stunning vocals and poignant piano, which fuse with Terry Balsamo’s urgent, yet intricate guitar playing, to form a remarkable, ethereal blend perfectly rooted in the band’s rock and classical sensibilities.

John Tucker Must Die, new telesync

A two or three weeks old comedy John Tucker Must Die is now available in fresh telesync. I’ve seen this movie in cinema already, and it’s not bad if you are teenager loving all American Pie series – then you will love it. The four main characters, or better to say girls don’t look bad and there are some decent gags, but if you prefer some more serious genres, you don’t have to like it at all. The quality of this release is little weird, the picture is extremely bright with unnatural colours, but hey, it’s just a telesync…

Three teenagers two-timed by a local lothario decide to turn the tables on him in this romantic comedy. John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) is the big man on campus at his high school — he’s the captain and star player of the basketball team, he’s got money, he’s good-looking and charming, and he can have any girl he wants. However, the latter attribute is about to get him in serious trouble when three different girls at his school — Heather (Ashanti), Beth (Sophia Bush) and Carrie (Arielle Kebbel) — discover they’ve all been dating John at the same time.
